Yeah, it's coming up.  I got my duct tape pants all modded up to go over my bocks, just need to decide if I'm going to make a mask and/or a mockup weapon.
77  Powerising / Problems / Re: Broken S-Rex spring weird place? on: September 28, 2008, 04:10:14 AM
That is truly bizarre.  Definitely in the warranty.  You should send them those pictures when you ask for a replacement.

I've seen a few police three-wheeled segway mockups on parade and used in crowded areas, but I don't think I've ever seen a real segway in my life.

You are a fantastic contraption god.
80  Everything Else / Anything Else Powerisers / Re: redesigned poweriser springs on: September 26, 2008, 11:22:38 PM
I'm about to explode with happiness.  That's great!  I was hoping Poweriser would be able to keep up, and for now it looks like they've taken the necessary step.  Durability is still a question, though.  Keep us filled in!

He said he chipped the SPRING, not the cover.
82  Everything Else / General Talk / Re: Website screwed up? on: September 26, 2008, 07:01:02 AM
If he doesn't care anymore, why won't he just give it up?  It's obvious enough that a site that isn't maintained will not be a revenue source, so why does he let it decay but still hold onto it?
83  Everything Else / Anything Else Powerisers / Re: redesigned poweriser springs on: September 26, 2008, 03:25:41 AM
Unless, of course, they made it thicker in the Z axis to compensate.  How are they in comparison for front-to-back thickness?

Also, and report/guess as to how the new covers will hold up?  I'm one notch down from a Poweriser fanboy, so any reports on any changes are very interesting to me.
84  Purchasing Powerisers / Choosing the Right Model / Re: Are these really powerisers? on: September 26, 2008, 03:21:24 AM
Definitely not Powerisers.  They look like a Flying Locust brand or perhaps Skyrunners.  Judging by the straps at the feet, they're either an old model of FL stilts that isn't sold any more or the very newest generation of Skyrunners, but I think the newest Skyrunners have yellow spring covers in imitation of 7leagueboots so those are probably FL.  Neither possibility is desirable, although that is an excellent price.

You'd be the only one.  If their character is better, I'd say it's about time now.

Hey, quotes don't work anymore.  I'll do it the hard way, then.

87  Purchasing Powerisers / Where to Buy / Re: M80's on eBay on: September 24, 2008, 06:03:43 PM
But he's still got the oldschool green springs.  Dunno whether that's a good or bad thing.
88  Powerising / Videos / Re: Hd.Net - "Top Five Green Innovations" on: September 24, 2008, 06:07:35 AM
Just wondering, what are they?

Embedding is dysfunctional

Could it be related to your physical proximity to the server?  .co.uk is a pretty good indication that the server is in the UK, but .com could be anywhere.  Bill and XS are in the USA and it's slower for both of them.
