Take a look at the bottom of the picture with the cushy padding.  They should make the knee straps like that instead of bare synthetic straps.  My half sister and stepmother are really into horses, and the idea had been floating around in my head for a while.  I'm not entirely sure what it's made of, but that kind of padding is less abrasive than socks.

Speaking of sock fabric, you could also try cannibalizing a sock to cover the straps.  I have cuffs and don't need to do that, so I can't make any promises, but it would probably be OK.  The thicker the sock, the better.

Mantis just got giant bondage/rave pants or whatever.  They don't go below the footplate, but I've always thought the ones that do look goofy anyway.  Look at his profile .gif or his video, "BREAKING in my new springs".  They look pretty sweet and have plenty of room.

I'm not entirely sure, but they'd probably think of something.  It was a bit of an overstatement, too.  At the very least, they wouldn't buy any other product placement deals with Brainiac.

... I am disappointed.  But then again, Heelys and Kangaroo Boots would probably sue them if they got totally humiliated by a skilled bocker.  I have a feeling that the win was based more on monetary contributions from the respective companies than actual speed.  There's a very low limit on how fast you can go on heelys because of how small the wheels are.  Kangaroo boots look like they can go much faster too, but they also have stability issues.  I think heelys would have ended up last if the test was totally fair.

At least they admitted that the bocker didn't have any practice.

I hope they show a skilled bocker in a future show.  They could introduce it with a clip from this show, then apologise for making them look lame, then show someone who can really use them.  Bocks are really up their alley, so I'm hoping for the best.

[Knowledge Section]

How about this?  On the home page, put a bubble that says "If you're new to bocking, come take a look at our Knowledge Section" or something like that right next to the title where it says "Welcome to PoweriserPages".  It might also be a good idea to increase the font size on the "What is PoweriserPages.com?" and "What are Powerisers?" bubbles.

As for making articles out of the threads currently under the knowledge section, I think that's a very good idea.  It's possible to find all the information you need from them, but it is time-consuming and there is some incorrect and conflicting information.

It would do no harm, that's for sure.  Or maybe not, now that I think of it...  It would increase the competitive aspect of this community.  I'm not sure I want that, as it would put noobs off a little.  There's the factor of "*sigh* that will never be me".  I guess it would depend somewhat on how the bocker of the week is chosen.  Personally, I'd rather leave the site the way it is for that.

I can't believe you went three years before finding this site either.  I found it before I even got my bocks!

Anyway, looks like you're screwed for a while.  We feel for you.

I've had little contact with police on my bocks, but it's been almost entirely the same kind of attention you get from any other passer-by.  I think bocks should be allowed in most open spaces, but they should be allowed to kick you out if you're being reckless or annoying.  It will be nice when they make bocks that don't sound like a small fire cracker every time you jump, because I think quiet bocks could go nearly anywhere.

As for the original question, we deserve our own lane on account of our overwhelming awesomeness.
