The jiggling is Ok, as far as I can tell.  If you can't do anything to stop it, don't worry.  My frames have some play at all joints and it doesn't seem to cause any trouble.

double spring grab + flip = cannonball!
Perhaps Team 101 will be the first to really explore flip combos.

I hardly noticed the affects...
OK, so upon second investigation, they played with color in the beginning.  The real bocking meat comes after that anyway.  And near the end they played some things backwards.  Perhaps that wasn't a great idea because noobs or non-bockers might think "WHOA, he just did a car BACKFLIP!"  but I still think it was cool.

Really an excellent movie, in my opinion.  The best.

Well, I'm very doubtful of this, but can't really see a rational reason to back up my doubts.  Bikes do their fair share of movement, and a bag that shakes around on a bike would never, ever sell.  However, bocks are a whole new class of shaking and banging, so we'll see.

Good luck, I hope they turn out OK for you.  You're gonna need to put something on the footplates to make up for short legs.  And the springs will be quite stiff for you (that can be overcome), and the stilts will total to 1/4 your current body weight.  You will develop a lot of strength in your legs, or be unable to run.  One or the other, I still would have recommended getting kids' size and then getting adult for your next pair... If you bottom out the M60s, pretty much everyone here will be impressed.

Hey... it said I had already rated this topic before I gave it a five-star rating...  Is it because I rated the Youtube video five?  Is it really linked like that?  Or is something glitching?

"Outside the bocks".  LOL   Cheesy
Yes, I have a trademark on that phrase. Wink
GENTLEMEN, I BRING YOU... CORN -iness!!!!!

I kinda like it, though.

Hey cool!  Looks good.  I hope that helps.  You should watch out to make sure that the mod doesn't just make it bend even more.  It's possible that the physics of bocks tend to force that joint a little loose, no matter how bent it already is.  Keep an eye on it, and if it stays tight, you get to be on the list of people who made a permanent contribution to the sport of bocking!
If it comes loose, try XS's spacer mod, which is taking the bushings apart and putting in a piece of 1/2" copper pipe over the bushings to act as a spacer.  He did it for the joint at the hoof, but I think it can be replicated anywhere that has bushings to go over.

I think he intends on starting up a sporting goods store that, among numerous other things, will sell bocks.  That doesn't sound like a bad idea, especially if he's on an island of 20,000 with no sporting goods stores on it.  If I'm wrong about any of those guesses, things could be difficult, but if that's the case, money is pretty much guaranteed.

XS has been working on a 540 airwalk, for example.  Spins are tricky and underused.

Yeah, F-50 will serve you well.
Probably when you wear them out you'll be ready for an adult model, but you have perhaps 15cm to grow before the frames will properly fit you.  Kids' models don't deliver as much height, so overpowered springs should not be any trouble for you, especially since it sounds like you're getting a FL brand.

Those videos knocked it out of the park!  R Bock on, there was some serious skill going on there and variety out the wazoo.  Currently my favorite, even better then the classic "Jump around" video from Morkai on Youtube.
13  Powerising / Videos / Re: Team 101 - Projumps - 2008 on: August 19, 2008, 08:26:08 PM
i know this isnt the place for this but is a backflip 180 considereda barani also??

Yes.

Anyway, you guys really rocked the house on that, but did you do any non-flip tricks in the whole video?  I didn't notice any...  Your flips are really excellent, but that's really all it was.  Mix it up a little, spin combos and such can be just as challenging as flipping all over the place, and variety keeps videos from getting boring.

How old are you and how tall?
