1  Purchasing Powerisers / Choosing the Right Model / Re: S-Rex Type R - A New review on: January 05, 2008, 10:50:54 PM
Hello i hope its OK for me to post this information we have had so many emails about the differance between the SRex type R and X stilts i want to post the info. If the MODS want to delete this info do so if you feel its advertising, i'm just trying to make people 100% clear before people order. So here we go, this info is for the more extreme bocker, if your a beginner then use the advertised bodyweight loadings for all stilts.

1. S Rex type X 90-120KG stilts will be available in the UK February and will be in the UK during the second week.

2. If your body weight is 70 - 85 KG you will be better using T Rex or the S Rex type type R (If your a very strong bocker) for long periods of time. If your body weight is up to 90 KG i would still consider using the type R.

3. If your body weight is 75 - 95 KG and you are an extremely strong and technically good bocker then consider the type X. Even taking this into consideration you will only be able to fully optimise the spring for short periods of time. Such as demonstrations or shows or training a sequence of extreme tricks  / flips. The S Rex type X is a great spring and requires very precise timing, do not order it unless you are very strong or you have the higher bodyweight range.

4. The main reason for posting this info is to avoid newbie bockers of a low bodyweight range ordering S Rex type X thinking they will be able to jump incredibly high all the time. The spring needs to be activated with technique and body strength to achieve the higher jumps.

Thanks, Richard

2  Everything Else / Anything Else Powerisers / Re: What are the “best” stilts on the market? on: December 21, 2007, 08:47:08 PM
Hi, i've just read this thread and thought id make a reply really for Dawsome... He has done some demonstrations along with Jake and Manni who is part of 7 Leagues London.. I first met Jake and Dawesome at Aubria and both are very talented jumpers that have had alot of experience using jumping stilts. I would like to say that 7 Leagues London is totally seperate from my company selling 7's so i have nothing to gain, but i need to say something about Dawsome... Dawsome is hoping to be a fitness teacher in the future, i hope he doesn't mind me saying.. He has jumped on most of the differant types of stilts and trust me he is very good. I'm sure he is part of the 7 League London display team because he loves jumping stilts and trust me he is good!!! I won't hear anything else and he knows what he is talking about, if he didn't believe he wouldn't comment ... Jake bought his stilts from me full price and i'm sure Dawsome saved up for his from 7 Leagues London.

My personal opinion is Powerskips are great stilts, very good indeed, maybe the best available and i have nothing bad to say about them. But when Dawsome comments he is doing it because he genuinely believes it, he has tested S Rex as has Mattias from Swebounce. Dawsomes opinion is from the heart and someone who knows how to use jumping stilts to the extreme and trust them to perform. This is not about skips or 7's but if Dawsome has a comment to make he is worthy of listening to.

Just to keep people informed S Rex type R 90-110KG stilts will be in the UK Friday 30th November this week. I'm posting this as information on this thread as we have had so many info requests regarding these stilts. To keep things simple engineering enhancements for the S Rex are as follows: Stainless steel frame bolts, knee brace improved with a dual lock system and catch, Lower bearing upgrade at the main spring pressure point, footplate strenghtened with new thicker frame mouldings. Three choices of bindings, factory EVO pro bindings 1 or 2.

I will not comment on the new S Rex type R springs as thats your job. Needless to say we have nothing to fear from any stilts available, anywhere at any price.

Soul Rancher, i've only just read this thread and i'm really sorry to hear about your problems. Can you email me so that we can identify you on our customer list. We would like to solve your problems as soon as possible, please do not use your stilts until we have thoroughly checked the fixings. Please contact me on sales@7-leagueboots.co.uk

The owner of 7 MS is actually a very good friend of mine as chance would have, and he like me will always buy a fellow Bocker a drink no matter what stilts they have..  Wink

Lol,
But if you mr. 7L are the one I think, I have to say: what a lousy offer to talk about a free beer for such publicity.
Have fun, jump high, says Dome

Hmmm i detect there may be a few issues here, i don't know who you think i am but i was just saying hi to a fellow bocker i met in Mallorca. Anyway as long as thats OK with you Dome..LOL

If you prefer i will buy him a drink, put a certificate in a frame and give him the gold medal for services to bocking..

I just also want to say this is a testing / info offer not purchasing offer because all suppliers of the 7's work together so when they are ready you can go to your preferred supplier by choice.  Wink

Thanks Sprog... but XS is quiet right but i am genuinely excited about the spring.. If someone from the pages wants to meet one weekend in the Norwich area they can have a go on my prototype. They will need to be about 85KG min or a strong extreme jumper to get the most out them!!

Sorry XS if you think i'm not posting information then please delete the thread i don't want to offend anyone.
10  Purchasing Powerisers / Choosing the Right Model / Some S Rex News on: July 05, 2007, 08:33:14 PM
Dear Members of the Poweriser pages i am posting some news on the S Rex springs that many of you know have been in development for some time. I would like to start by saying this is intended as purely a little bit of news for the Bocking community not intended to undermine or spam but inform for those that are interested.

We have been testing the S Rex in the UK for some time carrying out durability tests / energy return and jumping power in use. These same tests have / are also being carried out at various locations throughout europe. I believe that it is pointless for me to tell you as a bocker what i think of the spring as it will be the independant extreme users that will do the posts in the future but it is a monster!! I am very excited about it and am willing to put my head on the block!! I can not give an exact date of when the S Rex will be available but it has been very important to get the heavy weight spring just right.

11  Purchasing Powerisers / Where to Buy / Re: Original PoweriZer you make up your mind on: June 08, 2007, 09:37:56 PM
I don't want to sla g off competition because professional competition is healthy. Plus many sellers of this brand are very professional. It just hurts like hell when you put alot of effort into design and ideas and then people rip you off.. Cry
12  Purchasing Powerisers / Where to Buy / Original PoweriZer you make up your mind on: June 08, 2007, 08:53:14 PM
Dear fellow members of PoweriSer pages. I don't normally make this type of post but sometimes people seem to have no ethics.
Just follow this link www.originalpowerizer.com

They have used the pick of my friend Rennie from Austria on 7 League boots (but of course these are Original PoweriZer), copied my slogan and graphics, used pics of Kiola. Why can't people think of their own ideas, sorry but this type of thing makes me mad.. Angry
13  Powerising / Modifying Powerisers / Re: 7's selling binding upgrade on: June 06, 2007, 11:39:32 AM
I just saw this thread developing and wanted to give some info that helps any confusion.

We have invested in quiet large stocks of these two types of straps directly from the factory, regarding pricing we are still making adjustments to the new shop area and the pricing will adjust over the next 24hrs, they look great on 7's and have been thoroughly tested but they will also look good on other brands as well.
We will also have a very nice fitted combo option in the shop area very soon.

Just info so people now whats going on...
Thanks guys
