Are you so sure Dog, sorry for going off topic Petter, because according to http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Paraglider which is a fairly comprehensive description of it, definately says that people often take off from standing.  Therefore if he had the kite in the air and then jumped off a cliff, that would be paragliding by jumping off a cliff would it not?

Well, my Uncle who currently lives in Perth just left after staying here yesterday just left.  He had a go on my bocks and was surprisingly good at it, being able to walk-ish straight away Smiley .  The interesting thing is though that he does Iron Man events all over the world, and at one he went to just to watch a few weeks ago in Switzerland apparently they had a few along with other people doing a show just before the runners crossed the finish line.  Apparently they weren't doing much however, according to him, they had things similar to that mod that bobman tried out with that elasticy rope stuff with hooks wrapped around their springs and then connected to their main strut.

He didn't get a close look so couldn't really be sure and since thats the first time he'd seen them he thought it was part of the design but has anyone heard of these guys?  They must be fairly well known if they were performing in a well organised event.

Looks so cool, did anyone teach you or did you just slowly progress higher learning how not to hurt yourself as you did? Smiley  And O2, surely jumping with a kite would be para/hangliding?  Must be hard to open a kite in midair if not Tongue

i think that the woman was accualy the master
because she picked up the ring
i pirsonaly think that he re-re-generated into her
and that he got someone else to b the master
pk

I think that the woman was actually the Master
because she picked up the ring
I personally think that he regenerated into her
and that he got someone else to be the Master
pk-ish

that better ET? Smiley

Well, as annoyed as the police may be and they may be able to move you on from some certain places I can't actually see what they could do to stop you.  What kind of law would they have which stopped lots of people being together?  Whether they think you may be dangerous or not they can't actually do much about it unless they can prove that you are deliberately assembling to be dangerous or cause damage to people or to property, which you obviously aren't doing.

Or maybe he didn't die sprog :O  There've been loads of times when Jack looks like he's died but hasn't, like in hte last episode of Torchwood.  And I think that the last episode was ok but that telepathic rubbish was a bit of a cop out really, couldnt they have thought of a decent way to end it :S.  Plus, how had those people even got into the void, just because they were at the end when everything was dying why would they end up in the void?
506  Powerising / UK / Re: Essex Meet on: June 30, 2007, 11:53:45 PM
Congrats on the back to back Jack, keep trying Becky I'm sure youll get there

Lol, XS, you should have seen 8 out of 10 cats ( a comedy quiz show thing) on TV last night, they had an american comedian on who got really annoyed for some reason and started going on about america being really kind and helping the rest of the world out, that can't have been good for american relations Cheesy.  Also, english british is english Wink
507  Powerising / Injuries / Re: Bad back on: June 30, 2007, 05:57:44 PM
Cool, glad it stopped it hurting, don't jump though, since that causes people's backs to hurt who knows what it would do if your back were to hurt already Wink
508  Everything Else / General Talk / Re: Dr Who on: June 30, 2007, 05:03:39 PM
Yeah but unless they can time travel in the void too, which I suppose is entirely possible now I come to think of it, they couldn't have talked to the master when he was a boy.   Plus they'd have had to somehow completely recreate themselves whilst in the void without any machinery or anything.
509  Everything Else / General Talk / Re: Dr Who on: June 30, 2007, 04:43:06 PM
Actually hes bisexual ET, get it right Wink  And the Tocklefane things aren't Daleks, the master said they had been calling to him since he first looked into the void when the daleks didn't even exist so how could they be?
510  Everything Else / General Talk / Re: tv on: June 30, 2007, 03:06:25 PM
I think Eccleston was a good doctor but Tennant, as much as I couldn't really imagine him as the doctor beforehand, I think really does seem more like him Smiley  And on a side note, last episode of the series tonight, oooh!

Gibbo, I can't believe no-one has said Family guy either, or American Dad Smiley
