I will try to get the people i bought the gallery software from to develop that as a feature then.

so i guess this is optional.. not forced upon every image?
XS and I decided that it shouldn't be optional. Mainly because to make it optional would take a lot more coding, and if you really didn't want the watermark you could host your image at photobucket or somewhere similar.

Yeah that would be ideal, but the thing is the gallery software cannot do that. I'd need to look into writing something to make that possible, but I don't think GD can deal with things which are fractionally transparent. I'll look into it though

Hi there,
XS and I have decided that it would be beneficial for the users using the gallery for a PoweriserPages watermark to be added to new images. The purpose of this is to deter other unproffesional websites from stealing the images from the gallery.

I have uploaded an example image here.

This will only apply to new images added to the gallery.

I hope you agree this is a good idea

great idea, not the first though, pro jump gave stilts away in a photo comp at christmas 07.

I suppose 7 League Boots are a little better than Pro-jumps, plus the runners up prizes are pretty good.

Look forward to seeing everyone's entries.

Yes I suppose so, as long as I am made aware of it.

There is a great chance that would happen! Though admittedly you might be better off just buying the prizes from RTX...

With passion, and fury.

No they shall be judged by myself according to how well they fit the brief.

As long as you have the rights to the image then you may submit it. That usually means having taken the photo yourself, and having got permission from everyone in the photo.

This is the 7 League Boots 'Show Off Competition'

7 League Boots UK are sponsoring this photography/videography competition- and we're excited that this is to be the biggest competition in bocking yet, because the prizes are so great. RTX Sport will send a pair of 7 League boots anywhere in the world to the winner; either Thero, Raptor, T Rex, S Rex type R or S Rex type X! Read on for more information...

Open to:
This competition is open to any member of PoweriserPages.com, anywhere across the world.

Prizes:
1st Prize-

A pair of 7-LeagueBoots;  Thero, Raptor, T Rex, S Rex type R or S Rex type X

2nd Prize-

A 7-League boots carrying bag.

3rd Prize-

EVO 1 or 2 Bindings.

These are the best prizes in any bocking competition so far. View the 7 Leagues Shop for more information on the prizes.

Brief:
Submit photos and videos of you showing off your best move while bocking, or of you just doing something cool or funny. Show off your best skills- or just show off! A show off image does not need to be an amazing move, as long as it's... cool.

How to enter:
Post your image in the gallery, or your video in the video section. Then submit your entry by replying to the Show off entry thread.

Rules:
Obviously the image/video you submit must be your own. The winning entries will probably be posted in the news section of the 7 Leagues website. You may submit as many entries as you wish.

This competition will close on the 8th July, meaning it is running for 3 months in total.

Thanks again to our sponsors, RTX Sports:

Good luck to those entering!
Feel free to discuss the competition below.
