Purchasing Powerisers / Choosing the Right Model / Re: Help me Choose a model ad weight please

which spring is best out of powerisers, 7 leagues, and any other add ons or other models/makes? what are the advantages of this tilting axel thingy? Whats better, snow board knee binding thingy or that circular bar thingy.
Please, I (we) helped you but now please use the search function and you will find a lot of infos about tilting footplate ect. ect. ect. If you have a particular question about a detail you were not able to find on this forum I am pleased to help you. But I am not willing to sum up and repeat 10.000 topics on this forum and I told you: there is not the best stilt and it is personal preference and there are tons of opinions here. Please, just take the time and read them. I would like to ask you to make your own opinion. My advice : Buy a Powerskip frame (w/o a tilting footplate) with a Poweriser calf-cuff and a S-Rex spring. This is the best you can get.

i've had a look at the 7league boots, they don't look like they have many extras like snowboard bind thingys or the tilted axles or what ever that is.
which extras do you need? Snowboard binding is available (just launched so might still be missing on the vendor pages). Re tilting footplate please search the forum (not many use/like) them If you like the Poweriser calf-cuffs you could go for PR. If you prefer the knee bar and good springs esp. for beginner (no breack-in period) you could go for 7s. If you want to safe money and want to have a fairly good spring and a knee bar take pro-jump into consideration, but basically it is personal preference.

even then it would not help, it is a question of personal preferences, you have to use the search function and create your own opinion. My advice: the appropriate spring also depends on the brand. Some springs in the same weight category have very different "stiffnesses" and charakters. Some like to have springs way over their weight range (the nuts ) some stay within their weight range.

nice review but imho I would see somethings different, here are just my 2cents: OK, in the UK, Powerisers and Powerizers/Projumps are about equal value for the money. Powerisers are somewhat better, particularly their new 2008 model with the stock snowboard bindings and cuffs, but the 20008 model is also more expensive.
Yes but spring characters are different between brands, it depends what you prefer, I personally pay much attention to the spring character since this is the important part for me. Powerskips are about a kilogram lighter than the other models, their springs are way better and last practically forever,
Yes PS are lightest, but PS springs deffo do not last forever, they are not better re durability than other good quality springs (I own two pairsof PS springs). Also I personally do not think that they are better than other springs anymore (this was right two years ago). Some of the new modells have pretty nice springs but it mainly depens on the character people like, so there is no best spring. PS are the most expensive though. I would call the Poweriser 2008 modell (re calf-cuffs, bindings etc.) over all better than the PoweriZer (= pro-jump) but I do not like the spring character of the PR that much. Others like their character so I my opinion is not necessarily important. If you have to look at money buy the pro-jump (cheapest in UK - as far as I know). But ensure that you get the latest version (e.g. from pro-jump.co.uk) since there are still older (crapy) versions on the market. If you have more money to spend look at PoweriSer or 7league boots.

Powerising / Continental Europe / Re: bocking in oslo, just a thought?

Well, we (Zackiz and me) organized a meet in Goeteborg last year. It was pretty nice, many continental Europeans showed up but all the ones who pushed the meet up in the first place (the Islanders) did not show up (not a single one). To be honest we where pretty pissed at that time (search the forum).
I wish you all the best for such an event but be not dissapointed when many state their interrest but no one shows up.
Sorry to sound negative, nvertheless I keep fingers crossed that it works better this time.

If you ask an airline, they will charge you something in aditional for sure.
I just take the regular stilt bag (from PoweriSer or 7league boots) put my cloths and toothbrush into the empty spaces between the stilts an tell them this is my suitcase.
I never had a problem since I had only one piece of luggage to check-in.

getting better but I will need the summer to get full muscle strength and flexibility. Before that no stilts (or other sports with my arm) are allowed.

and the 7league boots bushings must not be oiled, sprayed, vaselined or the like at all. They have a grease layer which would be damaged with any other grease. (read the manual !!!)
Mine don't Maybe because they're a year old though I do not think so, this feature was included in the first bulk when 7s where released the first time. So every 7s should have them (these copper bushings). see e.g. http://www.jump-to-be.com/index.php?id=116&L=1quote: "Normal bearings must be serviced and oiled - not the bearings of the 7leagueboots! Glide into a oilfree future with the 7leagueboots!" or http://www.jump-to-be.com/index.php?id=39&L=1quote: "... Also a special coated and service free glide bearing for more bounce ..." But I heard that some manuals did not include this info. So ask your local dealer to be sure.

u need oil thats wot lol
You don't oil bocks... you dont? No. You lubricate them with something like Silicon spray or copper grease or vaseline (recommended by powerskip), but not oil. This is due to the fact it's very runny, makes a hell of a mess and sprays everywhere as soon as you start bouncing. If you look at the photos of me at CB07 repairing ET's bocks you can see how much of a mess they (and my hands) were due to the fact they had been oiled. and the 7league boots bushings must not be oiled, sprayed, vaselined or the like at all. They have a grease layer which would be damaged with any other grease. (read the manual !!!)

keep practicing. most important rule: do not bend your knees, kepp your legs streched, only when the springs are at max compression bend knees slightly and give a push. but in the air (going up and down) do not bend. this exercise usually helps a lot.
