Powerising / Continental Europe / Re: Gothenburg

Well, maybe from London there are cheap connections but from Austria it is expensive. The cheapest I found was € 360,- (and usually it gets more expensive the later I book), as a comparison for example to London, Paris, Rome I could fly for € 170,- or even less.
I would love to come but I might be out for this price, but hope dies last.

I will come, I will come, I will come, promised It does not matter where. I would also fly over to UK for sure. A big gathering, that is what I am waiting for. @swebounce Did I read Austria? I live here, are you talking about a particular event? Any details? @all I organised a meeting in Vienna where 16 bouncer came. Not bad for a first attempt . I guess the question is, can we agree on a date/location and who is going to organize that (e.g. a cheap place to sleep). I guess London would be nice, but how many would really come?

I would also say go for the 50/70 if you take 7'.
I can bottom mine out, regardless which springs I useand I have some 25 kg above my weight also. But I have also some within my wight range.
What is the problem if you bottom out? I do not see one, especially not at the beginning. Most people try to compensate missing technique with force. It is better to learn the technique first and dispense with some additional centimeters (it is not that much) height.
It is easier to learn on 50/70, and you are not that quickly out of breath. Doing tricks is also easier, my friend (doing flips) confirmed that doing flips is easier on a softer spring.

@XarnuSonci @jeezbo
Please bear in mind that the characteristics of different springbrands is completely different. Poweriser 70/90 are difficult to bottom out because they are very stiff. 7league boots 70/90 are easy to bottom out but they still make way more fun. The 7' give back the energy more even if they feel softer.
It is always possible to go a weight range higher, depends on what you want. I have both springs in my weight range and higher ones, I like to switch I can not say that I like one of them more.
By the way I own Poweriser and 7'. I do not see that much of a differnce concerning the bushings, that is my personal experinece.

don't know from experience about the 7 leagues but when i put bearings on my powerisers the springs compressed more easily and i also had to get a stiffer spring to achieve the same bounce. ....just something to consider.
Really, did it make such a difference? I always thought it is just a bit improvement. From which to which springs did you swap? Martin

Purchasing Powerisers / Choosing the Right Model / Re: Fly Jumper

I dont think all this confusion helps the overall sport and promoting it much good. No offence or disrespect to you Steve or any other companies selling them. It just makes it rather confusing.
Matt
I think they are pretty smart (I mean Fly Jumper). There are only 4 producers 1) Powerskips 2) PoweriSer (from Korea) 3) Fly Jumpers (from China) 4) 7 league boots In order to pretend variety (=consumer freedom) and in order flood the market and gain a big market share Fly Jumper sells under different brands (fly locust, powerjumperz, PoweriZer, Fun-Riser ....). You can even have your own brand name taged on them if you order a whole container. As I said, pretty clever, I guess they will go on like that since they can prodcue very cheap in China (to my opinion they are at the lower end of the quality range, but still OK).

Purchasing Powerisers / Where to Buy / Re: Introduction and explanation of US PoweriZer sales

So Mangotree (Frank).... hmmmm.... You say you're an "authorized" PoweriZer dealer -- but you only have an e-mail contact through your members profile and some ads on Ebay? No other contact information as to where you are located? No website? Sounds pretty fishy to me. If you e-mail me all of your contact info, such as your business address and business phone number so I can confirm it with Alan Sports, I will be happy to add you as a source for PoweriZers on the PowerBock Resources Website. Any "authorized" dealer would certainly wish to be listed. Use Xbcicio@optonline.net -- just don't include the anti-spam "X" in the email address when you type it in. Let's see if you are just all talk. Bill C. I am curious to know this also, because in fact there are still unauthorized dealers around. So I also kindly ask you to show us that you are entitled to sell, then we are all happy if not .....

@Dan
Your information WAS (!!!) correct. Time changes. To my knowledge (comming from a reliable source) ALAN/ Boeck recently gave permission to special importers/distributors/vendors to sell a particular brand in a particular country. So it is no more a question of the brand but of the entitled vendor.
As far as I know there is a legal PoweriZers importer in the US now. I guess (but I do not know) mangotree is one distributor.
PS: PoweriSer are produced in Korea by a Korean company. PoweriZer (and Flyjumper, Fly locust etc.) are produced by one Chiniese company in China.

Congratulations, good couice (in my opinion)
Bottom out springs is only a question of force or technique. If one of these two is high you should not have a problem to bottom out after a little bit practicing.
I weight 73kg and I can bottom out 95/115 springs, and I would not call myself a very good bocker.
I am looking forward to your videos.

Purchasing Powerisers / Choosing the Right Model / Re: Velocity kee support on Powerisers

Hi Trip Master, Congratulations for your purchase. I also have 7leaguesboots (among others). I do not like the original knee support of any brand, they are to wide for me. I use two solutions 1) see http://www.martin-alkin.com/poweriser/index.htm2) the velocity stilts calf cuffs (I do not have pictures so far) Re 2) yes it works fine with 7leagues. Both solutions work fine for me and it improves bocking a lot (in my opinion). But there are also other solutions around which seem to work. The big advantage of the velocity stilts calf cuffs is that they are very comfortable and soft, no dents, no constriction and a very good and direct hold. Also you are flexible to fit them to your personal requirements e.g. I have bowlegs.
