UPDATE 1: Sweet, they arrived this morning!!! They were here already when I arrived at work at 10am (yeah, I know) so the delivery was pretty efficient. They look awesome even though the knee bar looks huge! Once I get back from work I will take a few pictures for other prospective buyers and of course try my first few steps.
Thanks again for your help guys, I am sure I made the right choice with these!
UPDATE 2: Back home now and have some pics.
I have compared them to the original 7's vs Powerskips article and noted a few interesting points.
Firstly, the new bindings and knee straps look a bit better and definitely seem to be a worthwhile upgrade. Especially considering that the knee bar is massive so these should help me stay put.
The plastic packaging seems better with none if it actually sewed in so I had no problems removing it. Although, the plastic covering the calf pad (?) was riveted in so kinda hard to remove all of it. Didn't have that problem with the logo being too tightly riveted so all is good. The spring looks really large compared to other bocks I have seen so hopefully it should stand up to some abuse.
Anyway, here are a few pictures of my new toy! (...yes, I know they aren't toys....)!

Well, the only thing left to do now is go and give them a spin!!
Hi guys,
I have been following the bocking scene for a while now and decided that it may be time to invest in a pair.
I have been getting a little overweight recently and could do with some more exercise. I cannot find my skateboard, my skates don't really fit anymore and I get bored with just running. So I thought some jumping about may be a good idea.
After a reasonable amount of research, 7's seem to be the best choice for me as I live in the UK and am looking for something that will take a reasonable amount of abuse.
I am 5"10 and about 90kg at the moment so want to ask a little advice about choosing the right model. I apologise for another one of these questions, but I guess I want to be 100% convinced before laying down at least 250 notes...
Anyway, I used to trampoline to a pretty high standard when I was younger and as I am quite experienced in other extreme sports, I want something that will not restrict me from any hardcore use. However, my current weight of 90kg is a far cry from a few years ago when I was about 70kg. Therefore I was considering the S Rex model, but want to make sure I won't have any problems when/if I get a little lighter.
If I do choose the S Rex, I am not sure whether to go for the Type-X or Type-R. I would prefer to do more jumping than running I think, but I haven't found much information about the differences of the two springs. Does anyone have any experience or suggestions?
EDIT: I think I read somewhere the other day about the knee support being a different size on the S Rex models. Can anyone confirm that and let know what the size difference is? Also if any smaller guys have no problems with this larger size, I suppose my medium size legs will probably be fine too!
I am probably going to pick up a pair in the next few days from an online dealer, but there appears to be two websites offering 7 league boots in the UK:
http://www.7-leagueboots.co.uk/http://www.7leagueslondon.co.uk/Are they the same company or completely separate and which one is a better option? (Or does it not matter?) Anyone here purchased from either site?
Also, on the first website, they have a few extra options in a special offer for the boots like like the Pro EVO binding. Is it worth upgrading to this and are there any differences between the system 1 and 2 bindings?
I think that is all of my questions, I would be really grateful for any replies to help me with the choice and it's great to find this site, it has given me loads of info already.
Thanks very much...
EDIT 2: Just bought some 7 League S Rex Type X bocks!!! Pictures to follow after they arrive!
