We'd pay when we each check out of the hotel.
I still need to confirm with them but I was going to give them a list of definate names (and who are sharing etc) which we will definately have reserved and then if people want to book it on their own they can contact the hotel and quote "poweriser weekend" and get the special rate. The only problem with this is if people enquire about it directly with the hotel without actually booking it then dont come crying to me when you have no where to stay.
Make sense?

I actually went to my local skate shop and asked for the most expensive pair of wrist guards they had. It cost me £35 and is the style in the pic below. I think its money well spent. Any injury to your wrists from a fall is going to be an impact injury and its quite easy to break a wrist in this way. Problem is, once a wrist has been broken once, it is forever weakened and thus more likely to suffer more injury. I'd even go as far as saying wrist guards are more important than a helmet. Based on my experience and reading on here, more people have fallen and stick their hands out than have banged their head. However I think a helmet is a very close second. Someone people (and skaters) refuse to wear a helmet because its not cool. Well have a read of this and see if you think looking cool is still worth it. The wrist guards I have are the glove style and really make you feel very safe and secure. I'd highly recommend them. Also dont ever run the risk of bocking without your gear on even for only 5 mins. It's just not worth it.

Possibility of me showing up but I really wont know until the night before cos I might be working late until 2am. Google says it takes 2 hrs to get to birmingham from cardiff. Google must drive like an old lady in a maestro I might need some direction too, never been into the city centre before.

Hmm I'm curious about the technicalities here. I thought under the new (several years old now) EU rules that the whole of europe was treated as one big market place. Maybe I'm wrong but thats what I thought.
If that is true then it seems like the companies cant be bothered shipping them to other countries. Which sucks.

Purchasing Powerisers / Where to Buy / Re: Adult Pro-Jump Stilts now £150 | Junior Pro-Jump Stilts now £130

Yeah thats the junior ones at £139 and is probably being used as an attenion grabber. On the site, the adults are £175 and to get them at £150 you have to call them with your projump forum user name. Although this is an offer that could be withdrawn at any time, after speaking to the staff I get the impression its going to last longer than a few days. You can come to your own judgements on that.
Also the knee/shin pads you can get for £10 now.
Do currys even sell powerisers? Most large retailers have strict rules about price promises. When I worked at pc world we'd only price match if it was within 8 miles of the store and was in stock that day and the customer had some sort of proof of the offer (we'd then go call the shop to make sure they had them in stock) and it was pretty strict. I find the best people to honour price promises are small companies because they value your custom much more than the big boys.

We need to sort out a location really. I think the date is not too important as its unlikely we're going to find a perfect day when EVERYONE can come.
