Guys I dont mean to be rude but I have enough to deal with for this event so you're on your own with this.
There isn't anywhere local that this could take place, however there is an activity centre about 10-15 mins walk away which I believe have a basketball court (outside) and also a sports hall indoors. I was going to look into hiring the hall all day anyway and see if people wanted to go on the mats in 90 mins shifts.

Congrats Dom! Plenty to show off at CB!
Really pleased for you Smiley

hmm I'm usually the master at being silly but even my silly ideas at least have a silly purpose.

What does panic buying carrots achieve? Other than good night vision.

5  Powerising / Meet Ups / Re: Capital Bocking website on: May 13, 2008, 04:04:13 PM
The most up to date info is on the CB website lukey. It's being updated constantly.
There is no bus thread because people are coming from all over the uk and even abroad, though I believe becky has a thread or two on the Essex Powerbockers site discussing buses - I thought you'd volunteered for driving so I'm a bit surprised you dont know about it.

I'll have to confirm with carma but I dont think the world record was set with CIN.
Guiness dont seem to have anything recorded anyway because they checked when I applied.
We should have someone from guiness on site at CB to witness all the lovely sweating bockers.

Are you and Nick definately coming now? I really hope so. Grab me on msn if you need help with travel/hotels etc.

Red Letter Day
It's basically  a situation where you are stressed, fed up and rather skint and then a 'red letter' comes in the post (over due bill) that pushes you over the edge and makes you do something crazy like go for a ride in a russian mig fighter lol

clipped your feet stevie, ouch. Hope you're not too bad dude.
I've done the same but its usually down to tiredness than lack of concentration.

Hopefully it wont have an effect on you mentally Smiley

Well we've had becky with us this past weekend and I think other than thoroughly enjoying the welsh bockers experience (hmm sounds like a red letter day thing) I think she had a great time and most importantly learned to do some new things. Learned is the wrong word as her ability has been there for a long time but her confidence has taken a few steps up.

Awesome weekend, gorgeous weather and jono beat his back2back flips record doing a barani and then 11 backflips  Cool

Hopefully becky's testiment will be good enough for everyone to realise what an excellent location cardiff bay is for CB.
10  Everything Else / Anything Else Powerisers / Re: Radio Bock is back! on: May 10, 2008, 11:06:19 PM
yes mikey thats correct. though there is a delay of between 30 secs and 2 minutes.

Tonights show was not broadcast live. I'd not paid for the live streaming service this week but I tested it this morning and it worked but tonight it wouldnt connect. However due to us having our special guest here and it being an outside broadcast at the welsh bockers BBQ I decided to carry on with the shows recording and it will be up on the site sometime tomorrow Smiley

13  Powerising / Videos / Re: How I learned about bocking... on: May 10, 2008, 11:32:44 AM
I dont mean to offend anyone here - except sprog cuz he juggles but wtf does the juggler think he is doing. You are clearly not trying to film him so he takes his totally boring thing and stands in your camera with a face that would make you think he is doing something exciting.

Get out of the f***ing way!

rant over Smiley
14  Powerising / Videos / Re: need more height... bigger bocks. on: May 09, 2008, 11:25:29 AM
This is down to experience. You probably wont notice it but on quite a few jumps there your arms and especially your legs do a little flap about which greatly effects the energy being used to jump.
As the others have said, it will come with time. Just keep at it!
