1  Powerising / Injuries / Re: Knee problem on: April 27, 2008, 10:05:03 PM
when i first started riding only my knee got sore bad from a hyper extension from my noob balance issues but they got sore from just heavy and hard use. My Powerisers are for people 154 to soemthing and i only weigh 146 so they are still a bit stiff. i have to jump down extra hard to get the bounce i want so my muscles are extra sore, o well, bigger muscles = more weight.

well good news, i used the sock idea. Except i took a long tube sock and cut the toe out, then made it a cuff around my leg. it works great and when you fold it over itself while on your leg you can put additional padding inside. also they are tight so they don't slide around because my taught knee pad holds them in place as well. thanks for all the suggestions everybody! Beware, Bocks can scare dogs.
lol they scare horses, goats, cats, chickens and cattle as well. lol i live in a rural area so all i do is powerise in the fields around my house. i have 8 acres of flat land to just run on, some of the ground is sort of soft, but not to bad. Its good soft landing if i eat it. But its hard enough to hold my weight without digging in very deep at all

you can also strap yourself to the bars better using a large number of better binding techniques.

5  Powerising / Learning Tips / Hello everybody on: April 13, 2008, 03:37:20 AM
Hey everybody! i a new to powerising and this forum! I am glad i found you all.
A little about myself. I am into all kinds of sports. I especially love trick biking, mountain biking, extreme pogo and of course powerising! i have the PR 7090 model and i like them. They are 154- to whatever pounds but i only weigh 145 so i will need to gain a little weight to really rock. I will i build quick. So the one question i really wanted to ask is, is there anyway to keep the poweriser knee brace and back support strap from rubbing my skin raw (it already has, its blood red all the way around) or should i just man-up and tough out the pain until the nerves die and I get callused?
