Hi guys!
After being able to go to such an awesome event, I thought I could write a short summary for all of you who couldn’t make it!
So first things first: it was incredibly cool
I mean if you look at the details, it was pretty warm out there, but I think you know what I mean!
To enjoy Mallorca as much as possible, my team and I booked a very early flight, so we arrived Friday at 8:40 a.m. As you can guess, that meant to get out of bed around 3 a.m. so we were kind of tired
After our arrival at the airport in Palma de Mallorca, we took a cab and went to our hotel. When the driver stopped and told us to get out, we couldn’t believe it: we only needed to walk about 20 meters from the hotel to the beach!
That had to be a sign, so we headed straight to the beach, to get some sleep. But on our way to the beach, we thought that we might need something to drink, so we went to a small supermarket, just around the corner to get some bottles of water… But during the rest of the day, we didn’t buy some bottles of water, but Sangria; of course that was just, because you have to get to know the cultural aspects of the land you are visiting
There was a little get together in the evening, and we discussed what was planned the next days. After that, we walked through the city again, and got some more bottles of Sangria and went to the beach again, singing and dancing like mad (what did you expect, after a whole day of nothing but lying around in the sand and drinking Sangria ). But because it was important to be fit for bouncing the next morning (at least it was for me), we went to bed around 11. The next morning, we were already bouncing along the Boulevard and the beach at half past 10. I think there was something to do for everyone: you could just run along the beach or Boulevard, do stair jumps, flip round, jump into the sand and us that as a kind of crash mat, or just bounce in the sand, 20cm away from the water (which feels pretty funny) and just have fun!
In the afternoon, there was the Mr. Cool contest, in which my team and I couldn’t keep up with the other competitors, even though Flo let us dress him up as a girl, and he got some perfectly formed toilet paper boobs from my skilled hands as well
After that, it was once again back to bouncing, having fun and get some more sunburns In the evening, we were able to enjoy a wonderful barbecue, where we were almost forced to drink more Sangria and beer
But once again I left the group a bit early, to have some energy left for the next morning, so I went to bed around midnight.
Sunday morning, we went to a bay by bus and rental car, and once again got some tourists to make some frightened or joyful “ooooooooh” and “aaaaaaaaah”
Unfortunately some of the guys had to get back to the hotel early, because the planes already wanted to take them back home. We had to get going as well, because we wanted to enjoy the last moments at the beach (and another bottle of Sangria as well
)
So it was an awesome experience and a nice little holiday and I hope that this event will be as great as it was this year!
