Purchasing Powerisers / Choosing the Right Model / Re: annoyed at PoweriZer, sorry for PoweriSer

sorry sprog - perhaps it was not clear - i dont mean the poweriZers are not made in china - I meant that the brand name was not invented or decided on by the chinese - the name, logo etc are all from the UK distributor.
i know that you think powerisers are better - but i doubt there is anyone with more experience than me - as i spent 6 months working in the warehouse of the uk importer of the powerizers who used to import the poweriSer - the reason they changed was because we had masses of returns and replacements for the korean powerisers - the reason you may not have heard all the feedback was because they were excellent at sending replacemenst straight out. - i still have 2 mates that work in their warehouse and the only problem they ever have with the poweriZers, is the odd broken clip
and just for the record - the factory do not make skyrunner - this is an illegal brand everywhere that the patent covers and is another factory on the other side of china who can only sell inside china

true story is as so:-
after serious problems with price and quality! of korean powerisers - some of the distributors around the world, led by the UK distributor, - who had already been selling the korean product for more than a year - switched manufacturers and developed the new brand name - poweriZer!
they were not working off the poweriser name, whilst others had to build from fresh - as it WAS THEM WHO SPENT ALL THE MONEY BUILDING THE NAME AND PRODUCT IN THE FIRST PLACE - no-one had even heard of the product before they started marketing the korean one's. do not forget, manufacturers just make stuff! - it is the distributors who have to put the money into marketing branding, trade marking etc. also - poweriZer is not the chinese brand - if you look on the side of the box it says that it is actually the brand of the UK distributors ELRON enterprises or something like that. - it is actually the uk importers brand that is sold around the world and even in the USA it still has Elron on the box as they are the only importer anyone knows of, who had the experience of selling both brands for a long time.
so infact - it is all the new guys with the new brands who are jumping on the bandwagon - like projumps trying to sell cheaper - it is the importers who started this craze that you should be feeling sorry for - not people who just started selling powerisers, projumps, flyjumpers, skyrunners etc and are just coming in later to try make a quick buck - bear in mind that the only trade mark that exits at least in the uk is for poweriZer, and the german distributor actaully apllied for a european trade mark - which has been STOPPED because of the legal strength that the uk distributor sold poweriser for so long before re-branding the product and at the time they re-branded there was NO other brand being sold in the uk.
honestly - dont feel sorry for any of the manufacturers - they send to every country that orders anything at all - it is the distributors that have to fight the competition.

sprog - are you really so naive to think that so many big UK companies, (including some PLC's) would be selling poweriZers if they were illegal?! - you have just read the wrong messages at the wrong times. - i have checked with plenty of these retailers and it looks like your opinion is the confusion of a load of mixed messages from this whgole big complicated business. - believe it or not there are some members of this board with their own agendas - its not too far fetched to imagine some retailers are themsleves members is it . . .

sorry about the posts, i just thought it was unfair for this ghostneo to post silly accusations on 3 or 4 different threads when it was his first posts on the site - i wanted to make sure that wherever anyone new might have seen his posts, they also saw a reply

dear ghostneo
i personally know the company behind poweriZer and they were the first importers of this product type and they have had the longest royalty contract with the patent holders who they go to germany to meet regularly.
they used to buy the korean powerisers but due to customer complaints about poweriSer, pro jump etc and other brands they were forced to get a new chinese manufacturer to make the product at the same if not better quality - AND if they were still selling powerisers you would be paying £250 - £300 instead of £200 for them cos they cant make them for cheaper in korea. in addition PoweriZer is not just a name change but a registered trademark, as with poweriSer etc - the PoweriZer company is the only repuatble company trying to sell this product - who have official PR company's and marketing etc - rather than just a dodgy company making cheap copies and feeding off their advertising
i think you should get your facts straight before you post on a reputable forum - rather than your "grape vine"!!
