2  Powerising / UK / Re: wana get a big meet in manchester at the lowery centure on: March 29, 2008, 11:14:01 AM
it sounds horrible but please type in proper english, and use punctuation!!
I'm up for a meet - post when and i'll come down, annyoing everyone on the tram along the way
are the lowry people going to be ok with us bocking outside.  i know there is lots of space towards the quay but i realsie its a busy area; and i dont particularly want to upset anyone.

3  Powerising / UK / Re: Machester/Liverpool Bockers and Invicta BockerZ meet (05/03/08) on: February 08, 2008, 06:09:58 PM
I'm up in Manchester for the holidays usually, I think it's Fran or some-one else who's the other way around. There's nobody really there. I've tried to get a meat together a few times, to no luck.

this would be the point i was making...

5  Powerising / Practising / Re: how to start jumping?? on: December 19, 2007, 12:20:25 PM
bend your kneens   or simila spillin

nooo dont do this
worry about jumping with your knees straight before you start worrying about getting extra height by bending you knees, i found it too confusing to try and bend my knees, and try to get them straight again by the time i landd as the amount of time i spent in the air wasnt worth it

I'd suggest ignoring everyone, work up your confidence so you can jump, i learnt doing "tantrum jumps" then once our happy try and improve.
Jumping near someone standoing on the ground is always a good confidence boost as u know they can catch u, unlike a wall..

calm down!!!
we'll sort it out in good time, it'll prob be in feb anyway as i've got exams all of january, n DePaw isnt back up til feb i dont think; so we can worry bout numbers later but yes we'll sort it all out on here!

stockport sound cool, a wonderful trip on the magic bus away from me - bocks on busses the bus drivers love u! and the most violoent bus in the country...
not so sure about the town centre tho.  As lovely as it is to show off in front of people you still have the public safety issues and from what i remember of the shopping area (i have only been once to the one by the bus station) its not all that big and there are lots and lots of people.
i dont want to sound like a party pooper but id rather not get on anyones nerves and be able to have space for us to practise where we arent gonna hurt anyone else!!! and not be interrupted!
any other big spaces in stockport where we can go as the only other place i know is tesco in stockport?!

After explaining to one woman that I was only doing this for fun and exercise, she continued to press that I must be "in training for something".  So then I just told her that I really couldn't talk about it because if the Olympic Committee ever found out I would be banned from the games.

i didnt quite have that but loads of people round uni are asking what they are for and cant understand its just for fun. n then they give u a wierd look...

out this morning i got told i was very good for trying to walk as my leg was broken
wierd ppl
12  Powerising / UK / Re: Manchester??? on: October 31, 2007, 10:49:23 AM
