196  Purchasing Powerisers / Where to Buy / Re: Spare springs in the UK?? on: May 01, 2008, 12:55:36 AM
The quality of pro-jump is disputable, some people have found the new ones a bit stiff. however I haven't heard the most recent info.
197  Powerising / Injuries / Re: elbow and palm scraping on: April 30, 2008, 01:59:27 AM
I love how lots of the injuries we hear of were from people who said that their pads hadn't arrived yet Cheesy

or just werent wearing pads in general but thats to be expected if its in the injuries
198  Purchasing Powerisers / Where to Buy / Re: Coolthingstoride.com? on: April 30, 2008, 01:52:04 AM
Coolthingstoride is real good for the US, one of the best deals you can get. Watch their price though, it goes up and down.
199  Powerising / Videos / Re: 7 leagues stilts on: April 27, 2008, 04:36:39 PM
That happened to my stilts when i first got them, only it was the other bolt. The nut was moving around inside the foot for a long time. I didn't want to fix it in case of a possible accident. My spring turned out to be fine, but the metal that it was bolted to was bent up.
If you lose the bolt and such, you can get pieces at a hardware store or call the company and they might send them to you for free.
That other bolt is obviously not tight enough. Both bolts have to be really cranked down. The lock washer is there to stop the spring from getting damaged from the tightening.

I think i saw those same results. Thing is, we don't use the calf muscle much, right?
202  Powerising / Problems / Re: have i broken my spring?? on: April 26, 2008, 08:19:51 PM
Yea idk about that faint line. I think thats just a mark from when they put the spring cover on. If it was worth of a crack I think you'd hear it. Maybe you stepped on something?

205  Purchasing Powerisers / Choosing the Right Model / Re: Am I going to kill myself with these? on: April 25, 2008, 11:10:46 PM
Coach I don't think many people here qualify to teach fall recovery. I think you'd be the best person for the job. It would be greatly appreciated. I know that they train professional stilt walkers how to fall correctly. Would be good to see how they do it
206  Powerising / Injuries / Re: Its most likely not bockers back. on: April 24, 2008, 04:14:39 PM
Do you have any known of back problems?
I have scoliosis and I experienced that problem one day. It was agonizing. It has gone away now, and all I have to do is make sure I don't sit wrong or else the pain will come on.
How bad is your pain? If it isn't to the point where you cant bounce, just rest. It should go away. Look into it if it continues.
207  Purchasing Powerisers / Choosing the Right Model / Re: pros vs. classics on: April 24, 2008, 04:01:40 PM
It also costs less to buy 2007s (pros) rather than buy all the new parts for your classics.
208  Powerising / USA / Re: Michigan Powerising on: April 24, 2008, 03:55:16 AM
I'm looking into a Chicago meet. There were a few people around here, but i think the U.S ate them Undecided
Might be this summer, I need a chicago guy to help me though. I don't know the land.
209  Purchasing Powerisers / Choosing the Right Model / Re: Newb Needs Help on: April 24, 2008, 02:33:14 AM
You can get Sers for that price. You just gotta know a PoweriSer Rep... Roll Eyes

And Flying Jumper for 280

http://www.powerjumperz.com/?gclid=CLf5lLjH8pICFQezsgodsnFf3w
I'd still go with Sers
210  Purchasing Powerisers / Choosing the Right Model / Re: Newb Needs Help on: April 24, 2008, 02:26:23 AM
Those were there for a day on Cool things to ride Mr Frank

My guess is that CTTR adds in the shipping costs to the price (i'm positive they do actually)
so when shipping costs go up, so does the price. They really slash their possible profits over on that website. Breaks all the balls of other PR dealers, except XPhub who is their supplier.
