Powerising / Modifying Powerisers / Re: Slipping Tyre Socks - Solution

I've never had a tire sock slip off, unless it was a lace up or not properly put on. I just use one jubilee clip, tightened down as far as possible.
So sounds like it might work, someone needs to just put it to the extreme test.

If there aren't chips in the springs, no worries. If there are, still prolly no worries (looks like there aren't). Never the less, You will want to tape the spring. Check out the knowledge section under "Modifications".
Try using a bike innertube with some tape layers. I used innertube, hockey tape (cloth tape), electrical tape.

? If you think that it is something that won't affect performance or cause problems, or something that doesnt contact the ground or take abuse, then It might be ok.
If you are worried, take a picture for us. You can attach pictures from file by selecting "additional options" when you are posting.

I don't want to go through the hassle of posting it in the Gallery at the moment, because then I'll have to watermark it. (Just found out that I dont know how to)
Can you Private Message me your email dome? I would email you normally but I can't attach anything.
