ubuntu's pretty good.
I'll have to reinstall it on the laptop, and there's a new beta version of it which looks interesting. Installing stuff doesn't always work but there's usually someone who's tried it before you and has posted about it on the internet.

That is the beauty of coolaborative projects like the open-source ones.

Haha, and thanks again Hansi!!!  Grin this seems to be a trend.

Lol, 50% of the malls here are enclosed.  There are a few outdoor malls in New York, but they aren't the kind that I usually go to.

I'd get thrown off the premises if i went to the enclosed mall.  They hate sports of all kinds even on the property of the mall.

They are real sticklers too.

and thanks HANSI!!!  Cool

Has anyone watch the movie "The Mummy" or "The Return of the Mummy"

With Brendan Frasier and The Rock?

It's a relatively recent movie, in the past couple of years.

The Anubis warriors have legs that are similar in shape to our poweriser assemblies.

Also, large cats and cats in general seem to have feet that are padded and shaped in that general form.

651  Everything Else / General Talk / Re: How Did You Find Out About The PoweriserPages Website? on: April 24, 2006, 07:34:12 PM
well...

I found Bill through Tribe.net

and then Bill had a geocities website, with a GREAT number of resources on it...   www.powerbockresources.com

I helped him get the .com address setup, then found the link to this site through his site.  :-D

So, Thanks again Bill!

and that is how i'm here.

I love my KVM switch....  It's a great invention.

Mine works with a (Ctrl Ctrl and then 1-2-3-4) to switch between multiple machines.

Im impressed that you have a linux box running.

And, how do you like unbuntu?  I thought it was pretty neat, but i had a bit of trouble getting non unbuntu linux programs ported and compiled on it, as it was missing a lot of the library files, in the default installation mode.

It's definitely a nice project though.

Actually, i work a lot with sourceforge... and do a lot of custom ported module work, myself...

I tend to shy away from "All in one" solutions because I feel that i can make a better custom solution, without extra features, and with a better user-interface.

Makes things simpler for all that are involved.

If you have some time, Matt...

Lol, we all have our vices....

I'd personally rather see that people are addicted to toys, adrenaline, cameras, and other fun things... rather than see them doing drugs, or drinking

No such luck for me this weekend sadly.

I'm praying that since the massive downpours this morning cleared, I'll be able to bounce a bit this evening without more rain.

::crosses fingers::

I was going to do a run of like 500 business cards, for once i get good enough to go bounce through the heavily populated towns in my vicinity, with a totally new web address, or powerbockresources.com

I have to talk to Bill about possibly overhauling it with an updated system, that utilizes PHP and SQL.  That way, it can be updated from anywhere, by more than one authorized user, without providing FTP or backend access.

I want to get as much exposure as possible for these things!
It can only mean good things, such as cheaper parts and accessories, and more improvements to the product line.

::DROOLS::

I cannot wait until the day that I can move and resemble something even CLOSE to presentable lol

He's really got some serious talent and dedication.  Not to mention some serious discipline and hard work.

Awesome! Smiley

I use a 35MM Canon Elan 7e EOS for most of my site photography.

My girlfriend has a canon Elph digital 5.1mp that i've borrowed frequently.

I also have a Sony 4.1MP and access to a 7.0MP Panasonic.

I personally work with the entire Adobe suite, The Macromedia suite, and the Microsoft suite.

I also have a few botique pieces too, that are for custom audio, and video work.

I tend to let everything mesh into each other.  It's nice having such a wide pallete to work with.

I used to work with a dual screen setup.  I'm currently back on one screen for the time being.  It's 22inches... but I miss having two monitors. lol
