OK XS,
thanks, now I understand what you wrote at another posting, thanks.
I thought you have been talking about the bearings/bushings itself and they are at this time real the best one, so I didn't understand a f... what you have been talking about.
But this spacing thing is real nasty, I have to addmit and i don't like it at all neighter. Other labels therefore have an aluminum part there to prevent such. In fact this would be the right basic idea, but as I'm used of it from these chinese dudes, they had a basic idea that can be considered as the good one. But talking about how they realized it, it's absolutely useless that way......
a rod part between there would be the good solution, but there for, the whole foot lever part must be transformed, that's why they didn't made it the good way right away. (That's what I suppose)
But talking about that trouble, i would not accept such as customer, If I boight a new pair of stilts. this is why I don't sell such bouncers myself. The few pairs I had, I did transform at my own costs.

Hi Phillz,
1. Could you show us some detail pictures of the bearings?
2. It is a very bad thing, if the parts are moving sidewards, as you wrote. I had the same troubles with some old type Powerisers, when i wanted to make new bushings on them. There must be some old, bad batch, that seems to be still arround these days.

That kind of stuff real sucks, but me as a small retailer, i don't have any influence on that neighter and this sucks twice. Sad
But that's one of the reasons as well, why I started with the mystery springs. There I get almost everything in my own hands and things thyt are not there, they're in the hands of real serios and carefull working people.

Hmmmm...
seems that uk and us market is allways somehow behind the actual stade of developement. In Germany, these rods are now allready something like 2 months old.
But what the hell are you complaining about the bearings XS???
I don't understand what should be wrong with them, seen I'm even using them on my skips, seen they're working much smoother. So go ahead an tell us what you're considering as not well done.

Oohhh DK,
real a bad thing, that you don't live arround the corner.  Cry
But things are still loocking good and if I get the next mystery for my weight and I would be as glad with it as I am with the one for 55 Kilo people, I will give you a sign. So you might come over and check out the spring for 90 kilos to get an idea of it. So we can determinate the effective weight you would like for real.

35  Powerising / Problems / Re: Breaking the springs for the 3rd time in 4 weeks... on: June 30, 2008, 09:30:21 AM
Hi pr3d470r,
If you’re breaking that much springs I do see only 3 possible reasons, apart of working yourself to a bad batch:
1. Your springs are simply crap.
2. Your frame is deformed.
3. The shock protection part at the foot lever is missing.

The weight range I can not see as a possible reason to break springs.

Hi bouncing fellows,
Yesterday my girls son with it’s 56 Kilos felt finally well enough again, to try out the mystery’s I get actually. Bad luck I talked about making a video only after we made a little round on our stilts. So he felt not like making a video after that and we have to wait one more time for the next mystery video. But nothing less, I would like to inform you all, about his first impressions. He’s not able to bottoming them out, but right after a short time on them he found out, that it’s much more ease to bounce with them. It needs much less effort to get height and running becomes real another feeling than on other stilts.
I have been on my Skips that day and I real felt bored about to not have any mystery’s in my weight class now for myself. And later on my girlfriend told me as well, that it has been very visible how I had to work for getting some height, while it looked soo easy when watching her son on the mystery’s. I hope he would get his next turn these next days, so we can make a video for you, that would show what I’m talking about.
But further more, there is a big party the 30 July, where we would be as well, with Powerisers and Mystery’s. Everybody who likes such things would be thus invited to join us there and to have a try of the mystery springs.

38  Purchasing Powerisers / Choosing the Right Model / Re: I bought my powerstrider from the factory,I want to know if it's good or bad? on: June 22, 2008, 04:37:27 PM
ROFL,
it's soooo obvious, that PoweriZers and Powerstriders are the same (changed) brand.....
But one more time it's obvous to me as well, that mostly people which even don't see the obvious things in life, are claiming that crap stilts would be fine.....
Why people without any basics do feel allways the need to claim about things...?!

39  Powerising / Where to Powerise / Re: Somebody Call Security!!!! on: June 22, 2008, 05:32:11 AM
Haha,
it never happens to me, to met any unfriendly authority dudes and I think it’s better to not mess around with me. Personal right’s and liberty is shorten up already more than enough, so this could be e very sensible subject to me.
But once at one of our meeting, we have been bouncing for something like an hour on a nice place, when suddenly someone came to send us away. But the point of this has been, that beneath this place has been a cinema and so the audience of them felt disturbed by the sound of our stilts. Nothing less we have been asked very polite to go bouncing somewhere else and seen the facts there has been no trouble with that. But I did real wondering about, that it took that long until someone appeared.
So if there are real good reasons I don’t have any trouble to be sent away, but I think it goes to far to ban people of public places. As long as there is no damned good reason to talk about disturbing, I would not accept to be banned. So I don’t have any trouble as well to go into a shop on my stilts, to buy a drink or even a shirt. And till today this has never been any trouble to myself, even at shops with a guard at the entry.

Lol,
PoweriZer are not much differnet in thier may of making business, for what reason do you think they call themself poweriZer?!.....
And everybody who's gona buy Skyrunners, is supporting tehm by doing so.
Talking about patent fees, you can bet onj it, they will make it somehow more expensive, but they're not that hughe, to make the difference in price. The cash one makes with licences is mostly due to the mass and not based upon some single fees they get. We're talking about stilts and not about a Space shuttle. ;-)
Further more ther is a tool company called Eheim, they're copying the design of each and every good quaility tool. And i do know as well people who're claiming these Eheim tools as beeing great quality......
There are allways people who're declaring the last forgotten crap as good......
And further more it's like sSprog wrote above, the difference of quality can not be seen by new users, if they don't get any well founded technical backgrounds. And just to have a look at a picture, it's almost impossible for a newbie to see that difference.
Have fun, jump high.
41  Powerising / Videos / Re: Skyrunners suck. on: June 15, 2008, 06:55:55 PM
lol,
as an end user I would not care much about patenting issues, that might be right. But as kind od an educated customer, I do make my own thoughts about, if I'm gona buy something of a certain amount. So I'm asking myself each time, what the minimum price of the basic materials would be, I'm considering as well, that not only the producer and the retailer need to take on it, but I'm considering as well the transporting freights and such. That way I'm checking out if it ever could be possible that the thing I want would be made of good quality.
That much about a simple calculation that tells me allready: Skyrunners can't be something else than crap.
But apart of these simply technical aspects, I get moral reasons as well, why i never would support a Company like the one selling the skyrunners. But seen most of people doesn't seem to care much about acting rsponsable as customer, i don't see much sense to talk as well about my moral reasons I get to be against Skyrunners.

Hi Locky,
When I'm comparing the springs with some PS520's, these mystery's don't give much more height at bouncing in a same way. But The less more height I get with the mystery's, I get it first with a more powerfull feeling, if you understand what I would like to say by this. Second I do feel much more stable on the mystery's. Third at bottoming them out the feeling is completely different. The movement doesn't colapse completely, like other springs does.
But as ElectricStapler wrote, i would like to see someone with less weight on them as well. The trouble about is as i told, my girls son did hurt his back. (Who's telling me stilts are dangerous..... Cleaning work can be dangerous as well, but no one is talking about ;-) ) And only now the patent has been deposed, I can go for other people to check them out.

And sorry Locky, it's my place you would have to come, to check them out. Just give us some more time to be ready, so you would be able to check out different weight classes as well.

Hi Athoul,
to be honest as well, I couldn't neighter, but I know, few persons are quiet good in that. And after having watched the video of Phillz, I became more able to see things from a video. If I compare the spring behavior of Phillz video, with the ones from my mystery's I do see quiet a difference of behavior. But nothing less ther will still be people who're able to see much more out of a video, that I can do by myself.
So the video isn't real made for people like us two, but for all the others who gets an eye for such. And for all the others it's just waiting, come over when we're ready or check them out, if some friend is gona buy them. And there I bet you will not see, but feel the difference. Smiley

Hello bouncers,
It’s almost one night long, I did try to upload the newest mystery video to youtube, but this without succeeding. Youtube did hang up the uploading process every time and so I did go to upload it to my own server. For everyone who would like to have a look at it, you can find it under this url: http://www.jumperdome.ch/videos/mysteryv4_v2_1.mp4

Normally these pairs of mystery’s should be tried out by the son of my girlfriend, who gets the right weight for them. But he did hurt his back at cleaning works, so he hasn’t been able to go for a bounce on them. Now I’m much to heavy for these springs, but nothing less I wanted to take the chance of finally having a few hours without rain.
So you can see their behavior if completely overcharged and still showing their power. And what I had to find out at this pair, basically much to soft for my weight: For running they’re just dangerously powerful. My first running step I made with them, made me almost fall down, seen I never expected that power I received back.

Ok. finally youtube slicked my video:

Rofl, you're a funny one Phillz,
"finally some progress....." is kind of amusing me I have to say. This for the reason that you don't have any reason to complain, seen you're doing quiet good, for the short time you're on stilts now. And considering the fact that you have crapy stilts, you're doing good twice. ;-)
