Yes,
For myself talking, I would be glad, if I could do, what they’re doing. But the show looks real like some kind of copying the Swebounce team shows. And this swiss dudes are without any doubt good on their stilts, but not good enough for such a show. Like jono I do think as well, that they’re looking not to stable yet in their actions.
But they did the show and the public seemed to like it, so why not and no master has ever fallen from the sky. Experience is still the best way to learn more and so all depends on what they will take out of their experience they made at this event.

Yes,
customers give much on the look, while for myself as a customer, I wouldn't give that much on it. For shure and without any doubt these Upwings looks very nice, once that stupid figurine has been removed. I get it with stilts more the way, like i do with cars. They don't have to look perfect for me, but they have to work well without boring fallouts all the time.
But I don't want to get some stilts to fix them in a glashouse, at the wall of my living room. I don't want to replace my Tv by a pair of nice looking stilts, i wannt some good working and comfotable stilts to have fun with them. And that's the subject what I'm complaining about, if it comes to the Upwings. other stilts made by brands of trust, they stil have their defaults, but they are not dangerous crap like that UpWing Thing. Looks to me liek some software providers who doesn't upgrade, but downgrade newer versions of their package.  Grin
And if one like these carbon springs, they are available as well for other stilts, where one can talk for real about upgrading afterwards. First generation of these carbon springs had major defaults of breaking springs, but this has been solved meanwhile. So if you want to go for carbon springs, you would be much better consulted to fix those on your old stilts, instead of going for an Upwing.
This my 2 cents about and who real like to make the experience by himself, it's your money your wasting.  Wink

Quote from: Wrasse
If the manufacturers of the other stilts haven't seen the 'changes' and started considering the possibilities in them for their own designs, then they have to be nuts.

Regardless of whether Upwings are good or bad quality, there are some changes there that could be useful, and certainly are appealing to the public, as long as they are safe and reliable.

LOL,
by that sight of view, none of the manufacturers will be nuts, believe me.
But on the other hand, all manufacturers are completely nuts and there I’m not talking just about stilts manufacturers. Lice is that quick at this times, that producing the good stuff right away, seems to be not affordable anymore. So as an example I could tell you a story about my 4 motorola mobile phones I had. They have been all 4 the same and all of them I had or repair every 2 months. After I while I became real furious about and I wanted to know what the f.. is going on. So I took my screw drivers, to take one of this bitches apart. Without any electronic measuring works or big research, I found out right at the first look, where the troubles comes from. The design of the housing simply didn’t fit with the electronic design, what caused this regular and pre programmed troubles.
So if there is so much crap on the market, then we have to search the reason for first at customers behavior and human politics. It’s exactly the same dilemma I have been confronted at the beginning of an engineering school I started once. One of the first thing that has been brought to the students brain has been the basic rule: “When you’re making a construction, then never make it as good as possible, make it as good as requested”.
In my eyes this is a f***ing dilemma that should be quiet hard to live with for each sensed being. Isn’t it stupid and short minded at all, to live, think and produce that way. Isn’t it a waste of resources, energy and mental development?
But on the other hand there is no chance to survive for enterprises if they are not acting following these basic rules. Everybody wants everything quick and cheap, time for prototypes and tests are that expensive and most of customers do care anyway about nothing else, then the cash they have to put on table.
So if we are talking about the real top quality stilts, where everything is just great, then we’re talking about a very large scale of economical as philosophic aspects. So all we can do at this time, is to set a sign to the manufacturers and to make clear, that we don’t want anymore crap. At my opinion this should be in the interest of dealers as customers I think, and that’s what I always have done in my live.

Hi bouncers,
like promised here comes the next preview of a location that has been chosen for the October meeting at switzerland.
Now that video has nothing to do with bouncing, but it's a place right in front of the restaurant I have chosen for the meeting. But so one can have some additional fun at our meeting and I think it should fit with the general line of our fun sports.

Who comes to this meeting ad would not like to visit that park, can use the morning to sleep on, or to go out to have a little morning bounce. Mats to exercise and enough space without traffic are at your disposition for the morning of the 21 October.

Have fun, jump high and join us at October, says Dome

hmmmmm...
is it real offtopic......HuhHuhHuh?
The whole construction a little bigger and one would get a nice tool to handle crap stilts. If Alan Sports would be nice, they could build such a tool and send it right away to these crap copy producers. So they could save all the shipping costs, by destroying their crap right after production.  Grin Grin Grin Grin Grin Grin Grin Grin

kind of the same idea, at the same time.  Smiley

Hi bouncers,
like I wrote already before, from the moment I saw these “stilts” on a picture, to the moment I ha one in my own hands, my opinion about them has changed quiet a lot.

Going out from having just a picture, I had some doubts concerning a few points, but the knee cuffs by example did look very promising to me. Outgoing from just a picture, I saw these “stilts” as a promising thing for the bouncing market.

But now, after I did hold this crap in my hands, I had to change my opinion about it all over.
That velcro spaceman patch on the front says real everything about that crap I do think. Or told by other words: That spaceman patch show quiet clear at what stage of mental evolution, the developers of this crap must be.  Most child’s of 14 years should be further in their mental development, as the ones who made this “stilts”. To bring such crap to the customers is just kind of being real not ashamed about nothing.

- The knee cuffs that looked so much promising to me in first instance, they showed of as the perfect mismatch.
- The rubber foot part is just worthless.
- The fixing for the moveable footplate is worthless.
- The finishing is just a horror.
- The bearings are the worst crap I ever saw on stilts.
- The lower lever (footplate to spring) moves that hard, that one need almost a hammer to move it.

And this just a few point that I could see right at the first short seeing.
If you wanna waste your money, if you love frustrations, if your some kind of masochistic, then go for it and buy that crap.

Have fun, jump high, think twice, says Dome
278  Powerising / Videos / Re: What customs does with illegal bocks on: August 26, 2007, 10:20:32 PM
Ok Bouncer fellows,
I do not know the whole story about, but that’s what I do know about that story:
These stilts have been shipped to Germany without having any legal base to be sold there. Now the producers of these stilts did know damned well what they did and that what they did has been illegal. Same about the quality that has been shipped for be sold, by having full knowledge what crap they shipped.
So that container has been confiscated by the border and destroyed, seen they have been imported illegally. If Allan Sport has the copyright and that one is violated by some Chinese crap dealers, why shouldn’t Allan Sports make use of their copyright?
So what reason to cry for that poor dealer who lost its merchandise? What reason to cry after some illegal and low quality crap copy’s? Well done for their face and  a good thing done to the customers.
Wrasse told that already on a very diplomatic and friendly way, I’m not that diplomatic and not that friendly, so I take position to it the straight way. But thank you Wrasse to have explained it to all others, who can’t deal with straight words.

Have fun, jump high, don’t buy crap, says Dome
279  Powerising / Videos / Re: What customs does with illegal bocks on: August 26, 2007, 05:47:16 AM
Hehe nice done,
Should always be the way, they catch that illegal crap that’s coming across the border. Well done and hopefully it has been real expensive for the one who ordered that crap. It’s sooooo nice that vid, I just would have stand beside to watch it and to see the face of the owner.
There seems to be some people who gets pity with such dealers, but why should we? They’re just looking for their own profit without thinking at other peoples health and by abusing of the work of serious dealers. So real well done for their face, if their crap is ending under a cat.

Have fun, jump high, do care about your health and money, says Dome

Wow Zackiz,
That makes me feel real honoured that you’re considering to join us. And I would real be happy to meet you there and to see you live in action. How about your Brother by the way? If ever he would like and be able to come would be nice to meet him as well. (I do know he can’t bounce at the time, but maybe he would be fit enough to keep us company without stilts, just some kind of Holidays.)
But to come back to the meeting: I found this place just by hazard while looking for a possibility to park the car, while I have been on the way to the shoemaker of my trust. Just saw the first place from the video and so I thought we could meet up with a little group there. There arrived we had to find out, that in fact there are 3 places right beside of each others. There is soooo much space, that much more than 100 peoples could bounce around there without disturbing each others in their action. Specially these big stairs I do love very much, they seems to be ideal at my stage of “ability’s” and for others they’re nice as well I think. And what I do like most about is the fact, that there is enough free space when coming down from them. I think this places are just great to bounce around and have a lot of fun and I real do hope, that we would bring the people needed together. There is more planed for this 2 day meeting, there will be more location preview videos placed and hopefully this may awake the interest at lots of people.
But for now a very hard weekend is awaiting me, seen tomorrow I have to take care about all that adventure park part for that meeting. And Sunday there is the big Slow Up meeting where something like 100 bouncers should meet. It’s quiet some distance to drive for us, then a day on bouncers and after that the way back. I’m sure it will be a lot of fun, but long time driving plus long time bouncing that will be a very very tired me next Monday.

For so far, have fun, jump high, says Dome

Hi,
what I wrote about the Upwing has nothing to do with speculations, I had it in my hands. I’m not informed about what exactly is going on, if we’re talking about the several Upwings one can find at the market. But I did have a closer look to an Upwing with this ridiculous figure who holds a gun in the hand. And this part did look nice, but has been totally crap that tooke me all need to stand on it. Now you may howl that I’m a Poweriser dealer, but who doesn’t believe is still free to make the experience by itself. Finally its not my money that’s wasted and I do not sell out of Switzerland, so the only thing where I’m touched is the promotion of that crap mentality that seems to spread all over the world.
I do know the difference between crap and quality very well from tools and housings for electronic devices. And I do know much to well, how boring it can be to work with crap tools and  how it sucks to open housings, that are made to be assembled and never opened again. I do not like that throw away mentality and somehow this might be just my own opinion. But at the other hand it is no question about, that we should take care a little more about our planet where we live on. So I do think, there is a little more than just my own opinion if I’m “preaching” against crap. But this just my 2 cents about my general thoughts, by which the subject of bouncing is not excluded.

Have fun jump high, says Dome

yup...i actually think this masked man is a seller also...
dome...is it really you :-) hmnnnn
.........

Thanks for insulting me Pin.......

Sad to see, that in all the forums it seems to be the same old story:
Who isn't hauling with the sheeps would be haunted by the flock......

Yes I do get my own opinion about things and yes I'm pretty deceived about what I saw, concerning the upwing.
Yes I'm a seller and yes I'm not afraid to stand for my opinions even if the whole flock would bench against me.

But like it says by itself: I do stand for my opinions and I do not have to hide behind anonymus nicks.
So NO, I'm NOT Insider.

Have fun, jump high, don't bang your head.....
