Everything Else / General Talk / Thank you Bill

Hi, just wanted to say thanks to Bill, seen he did send me his road sign bouncer in vector format. So I can make one or a few of these signs for me and friends who would like one. It's not allowed to place street signs in our country as well, but as long as I do mount a sign on the wall of our own house, there is nothing illegal about. And seen I get such a wall that shows to the road at traffic direction, I get the place to fix it. Have fund, jump high, says Dome

Oohhh This is the part you’re talking about. Did not find out what you’re talking about, seen my English isn’t that good and my old crumbled dictionary sucks. So it’s always good to see some pictures to clear me up some more. Now I think there is a point, that is not build the best way, this I have to admit. But even if I’m very quick by blaming construction defaults, by this point I wouldn’t blame Poweriser. First it’s damned hard to realize connections from plastic to metal and specially if we’re talking about parts on which big forces are working. That’s why I’m in most cases not a friend of plastic stuff. You can’t glue it, once broken or split you can fix nothing for good anymore and to break it at connection points is very easy. And just some hyper strong special mixings that one can’t afford anymore are sometime the exceptions at such problems. That’s why I’m a friend of epoxy and polyester stuff, where everything can be repaired and brought to the point of being like new. But who would be ready to pay the price for stilts, if this footplate would be made of epoxy? But the reason why there has been one screw that could be taken away very easy and the other one not is one of this two: (at least I’m almost sure that your troubles came by one of this reasons)
1. At the screw who made you troubles there have been much more screw locker on it. That’s some sort of liquid that’s dry out, becomes hard and serves to prevent the screw and nuts to open due to vibrations. Several of this screw lockers they are that damned hard after drying out, that one can almost not take out the screw.
2. Your 2006 model has been stocked at a place where it’s a little humid, or humidity at shipment made them rusty. Now rusty nuts and screws in combination with screw locker, that can be real that nasty to cause such troubles.
The only thing that would have make it more easy for you to unscrew these parts would have been screw lock desolver. But how the plastic would have reacted on that….. I don’t know.
So I think your solution to not make use of these parts and to solve it by two nuts is the way it have to be done. But keep in mind the diameter of the screws and this special nut! You should use or a distance tube to replace the now missing diameter between plastic and screw. Or you could drill out the screw pad of the old part, set it in and then fix the whole with the screws, like you did. If you do not use anything to fill out that space now, I think there would be new troubles in sight.

its good to know they listen but it also shows that they dnt really know what they are selling after all if the guy had lived with teh 07's for a bit he would have found the problem, it shows that he not obvoiusly intrested in bocking and only in the business otehr wise he would have noticed!
Hi fuse, I don’t think this is the issue of it. The main problem is, that everything has to go fast and cheap. So therefore things are going into production, before they are real up to point to be produced. But once they’re made, they have to be sold and this is the usual way to do business today. I don’t like that mentality at all, but first this counts not only for producers of stilts, but for big international enterprises like Motorola as well. And second the behavior of producers is mainly guided by the consumer comportment. As long as that much people are just looking for cheap prices, as long as the Microsoft mentality is usual and accepted by the consumers, as long we will live in a world full of crap and absence of customer service. If we’re back on the subject of bouncers, the Koreans seems to have understood since a while, that crap selling would bring no success on long terms. If this would not be the case, I wouldn’t sell Powerisers, seen that I could make more win on Chinese stilts. And I like very much these new bearings (just to mount them is boring) but I don’t think these would solve the problem in question. My suggestion would be to weld a distance holder to prevent such, but this is not up to me and it should be done better, than the Chinese did. The Chinese pair of stilts I saw with such a welded distance holder that one has been quiet useless. But this just my 2 cents about and time will bring us more about. Have fun, jump high, says Dome

Purchasing Powerisers / Where to Buy / Re: Brand New Original PoweriSers

streetgadgets are a pretty well known site in the uk and well respected as an online retailer. I'd be surprised if these were not the real thing. If they are selling them off cheap then why isnt every other poweriser seller doing the same. It's a great price, get them while you can!
Yes, If one can..... I have been the first Poweriser dealer in Switzerland, since the whole distribution of several country's did go into the hands of POL enterprises. And Poweriser seems to follow that way as well, so in fact who's selling Powerisers may not sell other brands. i would rather share the opinion to sell severall brands, seen that all brands of trust they have their pro and contra. And if I could offer that cheap crap, I would like to have the right so as well. I wouldn't try to sell such to my customers, but so I could show them right away, why good quality is a little more expensive. But seen I as Poweriser dealer have not the right to sell other brands I get doubts about and seen the second label offered are the PoweriZers, my doubts are big. But like I told before, these are just doubts and that's all. Have fun, jump high, says Dome

Hmmmmm...... they're looking indeed like original 2006 Powerisers. But seen the price at which they're offered, I get my doubts about. At my sight could be old stocks of 2006 Powerisers that have to be sold now urgently. So in that case (depending on the charge) it could be considered as a very good deal. But there is a chinese copy manufactury which is copying everything they could sell. They're copying Powerskips, Powerisers and 7Ms by selling them under the real brand name labels. They're not ashamed about nothing and I could bet their copy's are crap. SO to be honest even me as a dealer I'm confused about AND how it comes, that they're selling Powerisers as well as PoweriZers?! Tha'ts the point that gives me a bad feeling about. I don't think Korea would like this and especially seen the second brand abusing name of PoweriZers..... It's not up to me to judge about which of the two cases I mentioned would be the right one, but I get my doubts about.

Hi bouncers, there is appears lots of time the word “bushings“ that can’t be found at my dictionary, so can you explain me someone the meaning of it? What I did found at the dictionary is the word “bearings” and if this is something different then bushings, then I just wanted to make you attempt on it, that these steel looking things they are the newest bearings. That brass part you can see, is just to replace the collar of the plastic bearings, seen the new ones doesn’t have any collar. And yeas, this is not the first, but allready the third edition of Poweriser 2007 Thats it, so have fun, jump, high, says Dome

Powerising / Continental Europe / Re: Sunnday 16 September Slow Up Basel

Hi bouncers, that day started quiet nasty to me and seen I did wait desperately on my T-shirts for the event of this coming Sunday, I have been like sitting on needles. And as the phone ringed at the morning hours, I almost had a heart attack, seen I supposed bad news about my shirts. But nothing such, just a request of my wholesale dealer and as I phoned him back, my shirts has been there. So the first fear that my shirts wouldn’t come at time for one or the other reason, already has been crossed over. But then I checked the export documents I found out, they have not been complete filled in. So me without any connection to the net, I have been depending completely of friendly Customer guards who helped me to complete the whole documents. A thing that is not usual at all if we’re talking about German border guards. So my day has gone better and better and I even found time to pre clean my mats that I bought a few days ago and to think about, how I could fix these small blinkers I found, at my bouncers. Seen that Murphy has been sitting in my back for the last few months it’s great to get such days again, time by time. So after that Event of coming Sunday me and Cype we will hopefully find the time to start by making flips. Naturally I’m talking about making flips without the stilts, to get first a feeling for it. By this a few pictures about: Thats it, so have fun, jump, high, says Dome

Thanks Dawesome, it's all a question about the weather and if this is good, something like 30'000 up to 100'000 people should be part of this event. So' I'm just a very little part of this big event and if the weather is fine, no doubt for me that it will be nice. And whoever would like to join us at the swiss Poweriser stand of this event, here is where we can be found: Have fun, jump high, says Dome

Hi bouncers, Its 3:30 in the morning and I just finished the setup for the ordering forms made for our next event. This is the so called “Slow Up”, where 40 km of public roads are closed for all motorized traffic. The route of this happening is crossing 3 different country’s (Switzerland, France and Germany) and the happening finds place this Sunday 16 September from 10:00 in the morning till 17:00 in the evening. So lots of skaters, bikers and hopefully a lots of bouncers as well will meet there to share. Poweriser will be present there as well at two locations and everybody is invited to join us.

Words doesn't seem to help much, so you brought me to the point where I picked up a 2007 Poweriser and some bearings out of my spare parts box. First the brandnew Poweriser 2007 and its bearings: And this the rest about bearings: Have fun, jump high, says Dome

Hi Figrotti, I don't have any idea about usual prices in UK. But in Switzerland and Germany all brands of trust are about at the same price range. And they're all for a price that can be considered as justified. And if you get any doubts about the new Poweriser, why you don't go for to have a try?!!! Here arround every serious stilts dealer is offering their customers to try them first. Isn't there any dealer nearby you???
@Bill sorry and yes there have been onst a serie of stilts with these problems. but this has nothing to do with the "plastic" bearings. Otherwise most stilts like Powerskip should show the same problems......

I dont think the bearings on them are crap. Sorry, but these stilts are the old version of the Powerisers with this brass bearings and compared to what the new 2007 Poweriser gets on it, I do consider these bearings as crap. They are noisy and not working that smooth like the "plastic" bearings that came after. But now on the 2007 Poweriser there are again better bearings on it and they are one more time much better, then the previous "plastic" bearings. So compared to the bearings of the 2007 Powerisers these brass bearings can be considered as crap. But bearings are that easy to change, so it has been a good buy anyway and these old brass bearings doesn't make crap out of the stilts. So such has never been mentioned by me. I would not sell Powerisers if I would consider them as crap, that's for sure. But with the time are comming allways better and newer improvements and so what has been usual in the past is going to be crap versus the more actual devices availlable. And about deforming the frame, I would just say, that: - PoweriSers are not PoweriZers! - Powerskips they gets "plastic" bearings as well. There is no reason to deforming a frame of quality Stilts and as such Powerisers can be considered without any doubt. Have fun, jump high, says Dome

Hi, To go more into details:
1. These old bindings are crap. 2. The bearings are crap as well.
But bindings as bearings can be changed very easy and it wouldn't cost you a fortune to do so, later on. For your request, it seems the ideal deal and once they're pimped up, you would have quiet good stilts. And another nice thing about: bearings as bindings are just small things, easy and cheap in shipment
