hi everyone

i haven't really been active on this site but i could use some help lol

last year i brought some bocks off ebay lol just brought a cheap pair because i wanted to try them before i spent loads!!!!!

i brought them towards the end of the year where the weather was terrible so i only spent about two weeks on them the last time i used them i jumped off a ledge only about 2 foot high but i lost control in the air and landed really funny and cracked the metal on the bar that hold the hoof in place!!!

when i did it i thought bugger it i'll get them fixed next year because the weather was starting to get bad!!

anyway the sun was out today and i really fancied gettin them out but i forgot i broke them, i got them out and saw the crack again Sad i put them on anyway and had a quick go on them just walking and a slight jog and small jumps (dont dare do anything else)

anyway i really wanna get back into powerbocking so i wanna know where can i get the part from to replace what i stupidly broke???

oh and they say on them they're 'jumper units' as i said i brought a cheap version lol. they do work pretty well though so cant complain they set me back like £80  anyway they look the closest to me like the pro-jumps. dunno if every set has the same fitting parts and i havent got enough money to buy another set of bocks so any help where to get the bit from would be appreciated

cheers

and if you have any weight sets lieing around as alot of houses do get a barbell and put around 40-80kg on it and put one hand on it with the palm of ya hand facing you and the other hand with your palm of your hand facing away from you and lift untill your arms are straight and lean back do it like 10 times and have a rest do that another 3 times so you do 4 sets of 10 thatll do ya lower back
39  Powerising / Injuries / Re: chest and back pain on: May 18, 2007, 07:09:58 PM
yeah its a bit different atthe gym i got but same principle and to be honest they work lower back really well if you dont wanna do dead lifting ect but you know im sure you could use some stuff around your house to do the same thing im not saying everyone should do it but it would be good to people who have never used there back muscles before to strengthen it up and reduce the pain from bockers back?Huh

cant get a video any time soon but basically working out ya back could strengthen it for bocking ill try n get some examples up soon if anyones interested and it isnt really hard

hi i havent got my bocks yet they should be here tomorrow   Grin but about strengthening the back muscles i go to the gym as im a body builder and do stuff like dead lifting, and other back exersizes to tone it up like one thats like a reverse sit up and that does your lower back really good and its really simple and i think it would be a good way strengthening your back for bocking maybe?Huh because when i started i had no back muscles but now there like all visible so it may prove usefull to people who have back troubles while bocking or before they start maybe????tell me wot ya think

43  Purchasing Powerisers / Choosing the Right Model / Re: need helpon weight on: May 10, 2007, 09:37:44 PM
well if the m90 is for people  between 13.5 and 15 stone and i weigh 12 stone 8 shouldnt i better off getting the m80's which what ive heard is from 12.5 to 13.5 stone?Huh

im probably wrong lol
44  Purchasing Powerisers / Choosing the Right Model / need helpon weight on: May 10, 2007, 09:24:08 PM
right ive decided to buy a pair of powerisers and have my eyes on a set of pro jumps as they seem pretty cool

the weight chart is as follows

60kg (9.5 stone)
70kg (11 stone)
80kg (12.5 stone)
90kg (14 stone)
100kg (15.5 stone)
120kg (19 stone)

i'm 12 stone 8 and im guessing the 80kg one on the chart means 80kg to 90 kg which is inbetween 12.5 stone and 14 stone should i get those ones bearing in mind i want to be able to jump high without having to much trouble compressing the springs basically a nice mix of both

help would be appreciated
