Part of this lesson should be that, in general, it is really easy to misinterpret plain text.  It can often be read a number of different ways -- and what might sound funny to you as you write something may seem like a anger or an insult to the other person.  It is for this reason that Matt has conveniently provide the smiley icons to use in order to try to convey an emotion and meaning behind your text.  If you are joking  Wink   or angry  Angry   or confused  Huh, etc.  PLEASE USE THEM.

Hey, I love you guys.   Kiss

Wink

Bill C.
True I made a joke the other day about a letter which some took the wrong way. Shocked
I could have made it more clear that it a more a of a joke and I  late said sorry to them. Matt delete this post, after reading the wrong meaning into it !  Undecided
And " Hey , I love you guys. Kiss     ....    but I'd love the girls more   Grin

677  Purchasing Powerisers / Choosing the Right Model / Re: Before I purchase... on: September 24, 2007, 05:54:52 PM
When you say a bit over weight  how much are you hoping to lose ?
At 73kg you'd best go for 80Kg pro-jump at least ( 10 kg above your weigh ) so over higher !?
They will help you lose weight but most people will tell you to buy 10-20 kg over your weight but if you plan to lose a lot then take that into account ?

685  Everything Else / General Talk / Re: Pinhead's suspension on: September 22, 2007, 04:28:12 PM
I'm new to here so don't you many people here very well so I'm not picking sides but .....

From what I've worked out Pinhead as over reacted to O2 but O2 is not without blame.
Pinhead AND O2 should have been given a ban to let them both cool off a bit letting O2 stay on may not be the best thing for O2 ?
Pinhead friend will think O2 got away where Pinhead been slapped and will stop talking to him.
Pinhead now feels a little P'ed off but I hope in time he'll come back. I got barred from the BB site for 1 month and one year later I've started to posting again !?

The more people post the more likely they are to cross the line, but at least their adding to this forum !?

Bocking is fun for Bockers and Pavement Huggers and I think we are all a nice friendly bunch ( We have to be every 5 second someone come up to ask you about your stilts ) .
If anyone get a ban then when the return we should just let them start a fresh Smiley

I love taking unusual photos and it is the ball of a pen the black is the lens of the camera ( Gold that's plastic .... I've got a ring if you'd like to buy it !? ).
687  Everything Else / General Talk / Whos handy capped on: September 19, 2007, 11:18:49 PM
Why is it when you see a person in a wheelie chair you call them handy capped.
Or someone with a guide dog you step to one side.
I've let a girl in a wheelie chair hold a door for me, she wouldn't call herself handy capped neither would I.
I got lost in London ( turn left not right ) and I asked a blind man the way. He must know where he is so why would he not be able to help me !

Most so called handy capped people don't like the label, they may need help some times but you should treat them differently if possible ?

Dyslexia ( why is it hard to spell ) means that word/ letter get mixed up sometimes. We know our words get mixed up when writing and proof reading helps but sometimes it still looks right to us. The English maybe a little odd but you can still work it out.
Forum members with dyslexia should be allowed the odd grammar mistake ? ( naming no names ).

Right speech over ?

If a old lady held a door open for you or a one legged man stood up and let you sit down how would you feel about it ?
688  Powerising / Learning Tips / Re: Learn to walk first without your stilts on: September 19, 2007, 10:57:08 PM
Typo's so funny when you came go back and change them make the person who spots it looks a little silly Grin
Sadly not DK, as it says on your post that you've modified it AFTER I made my post, so it still makes you look silly Tongue

And I have to say your use of the English language is just embarassing, you just look stupid typing like that, not silly Angry
Well ! For someone with dyslexia I'm not doing too badly Angry
