62  Powerising / Problems / Re: My 1ST Broken Spring on: August 30, 2008, 02:23:45 PM
Dead springs are never a nice thing the hear about.

A couple of things they may ask is
Have you fallen over on it be for now ?
How do your store/transport them ?

If you've droped one on the other and hit metal on spring you could have put a hair line crack in them ?

What ever happens hope your bocking again soon Smiley

Most twists (in one jump): Swebounce (name to b confirmed) with 2 twists (690 degrees)
I'm not sure how 360 x 2 = 690 Huh
wasn't quite a full twist, just under
www.youtube.com/watch?v=pNuWrwQJKos
1) 360 + 360 = 720
2) On the recovery he did complete 720
3) If your goin g to say " Oh he only did 690 " then will anyone do a true 720 ! Someone may get 715 or 725 where do you say " that's close enough ". He did do two, the finish was a bit rough, so the next person can make the finish cleaner !

I'm claiming the owner of the world biggest pair.
Fusion uses two T-Rex springs ( range 70-90 Kg x 2 = 140-180 Kg )
65  Powerising / Learning Tips / Re: My knees wont stay in my 7's! on: August 29, 2008, 05:50:12 PM
The S Rex stilts have a slightly oversized knee bar hoop, this is because some people up to 110KG can have quiet large legs, however many people naturally have smaller diameter legs especially closer to the 90KG bodyweight end.
I'd like to say that I have the S rex oversized hoops.
They slightly TOO big now  Undecided
I've probably have the biggest legs you find and I find the hoops too big ?
But it's probably what the normal hoop feels to you.

I use the same knee/shin pad has Becky, Much better than just a knee pad and they can't move up Smiley
66  Powerising / Injuries / Re: "things u hav run into" competition on: August 29, 2008, 05:16:13 PM
I once nearlly ran into the back of a bus when it slamed it's brakes on when ones jumps out infront of it.
I didn't run into it but was inches off it and was the fast brake I'd very do 15mph to zero in 8 steps ( which in good for someone who 18 stone )

How many bockers does it take to change a light bulb ?
Just one ... but are they safe inside on their stilts ?
71  Powerising / USA / Re: Boston, MA August 29 or 30 on: August 26, 2008, 05:25:31 PM
One of these day's I'll have to come meet all of you there.
Still think we sliped up at CB08 we both live in Boston 100's of miles apart ( Big place LOL ). We should have asked Becky to take one !?
72  Purchasing Powerisers / Choosing the Right Model / Re: Upper weight limit for bocking? on: August 26, 2008, 12:28:21 AM
One more factor you have to think of is the hoof need to be bigger too, has there's more weight it'll need more grip !
73  Purchasing Powerisers / Choosing the Right Model / Re: Upper weight limit for bocking? on: August 25, 2008, 09:22:14 PM
I was there a year ago  Grin

S-Rex would be alright to do jogging in but you not get very high jumps. They may bottom out but that's only bad on you has their designed to do that ?

Frames could be reinforced with metal bars.

I'm still working on a rear mount extra spring which maybe able to be retrofitted to a normal frame !

With luck my new type frame should be read in a couple of months once I've worked out the springs ?

London 2012 so we could have a great routine/act for them should they want us  Smiley

I've been stopped three times by people saying " Where those the same as at the olympic ? ".  Grin

So the mind boggles to think of how many people would have seen them a great promotion for bocking ( glad no one fell over ).  Smiley
