Will probably involve spraying lit paraffin out the back when the springs compress.
Now thats a cool idea, will be great if you can actually pull it off Dont encourage him! He will actually end up with flaming stilts if he works out how! Pyromaniac! I've worked it out how to shoot flames out of the back of the springs

i made a pair with the help of some friends who knew what they were doing with a sewing machine really we just eyeballed it as a a giant pair of pants out of some normal fabric, got it down to something that fit close to right, then took them apart and cut the same thing out of fur.
That's cheating .... but I like it I'd like it less baggy but that's a good idea Right only problem I need a sewing machine

The hoofs on my old set have/had hole in them When I cut up a tire for hoof socks I cut a small bit to go in hole and glued it in. After a year it's still holding and works fine, I've replaced the socks about 10 times now !?

If you want to compress the spring for demonstration, to play with the spring when it's first out of the box, or whatever other reason, I'd suggest pressing down on the footplate instead. It's probably not as much of an issue with cuffs as the bars only go out half as far and have half the leverage, but still not a good idea.
I push down on the top of the spring itself

New Bocks should have a sticker of the hoop saying " NO STEP ".
Well maybe not that but why not a sticker telling people not to use to flex spring ! I know it say that in the manual but who reads that before they test their springs !?
