ah, think i may have found your problem, locky said something in chat the other day about evo bindings, i'll try to find the link that he gave me, might take a while though

well i suppose anything that puts too much stress on the bolt could rip it off, in theory it could come from over tightening the bindings, though the half of the bindings that has the teeth the other half locks into would snap first, these are pretty tough bolts after all, and if nothing happened to them since the factory, they'll still have their glue like stuff on them that locks them in place...which takes quite a bit of force to undo, trust me on that one lol
483  Powerising / Modifying Powerisers / Re: What is the best hoof protector? on: July 03, 2008, 11:48:29 AM
...well i'll probably be bocking for at least a few hours each day, and most probably on a wide variety of surfaces, so we'll see, but even if it ends up being like 500 hours of use, evryone can be sure thats the best thing, and it's worth the £32 spent on them...plus whatever it takes to get my springs to attach to them correctly lol
484  Powerising / Problems / Re: EVO binding upgrade for the 7leagueboots. on: July 03, 2008, 11:46:51 AM
yeah, think we may have just narrowed the problem down to the screws, oh and you mean if the nuts been overtightened and sheared off the THREAD Tongue
485  Powerising / Modifying Powerisers / Re: What is the best hoof protector? on: July 03, 2008, 11:43:09 AM
...^^ that pair of socks wore through from the inside, pretty evenly, and probably was about 25-30 hours of use until completely through, though i stopped using it once i could see material on the bottom of the hoof, the solid rubber part under the chunky tread wore through slower than the chunky grip, that just ripped right off, and they didn't have much grip on the floor until the chunks were completely gone, smooth tires are probably best for grip, but will also probably wear through faster, got some 7's feet coming through the mail soon, so i'll start making a diary of how long i bock for, and on what surface etc, if i can keep it going we might actually have the length of a hoof, instead of about a year or something Tongue

487  Powerising / Problems / Re: hoof connection to other metal arm on: July 03, 2008, 11:39:34 AM
ah, jiggling when you kick feet, sounds like it's forwards/backwards movement then, which is usually the bottom joint not having enough/any padding, just tape some card into the gap between the spring and the plastic bolt cover thingie there and see if it works
488  Powerising / Problems / Re: EVO binding upgrade for the 7leagueboots. on: July 03, 2008, 11:23:45 AM
maybe the screw is loose, so they pivot round said screw and fall beneath the footplate? maybe...
489  Powerising / Modifying Powerisers / Re: Changing hooves on: July 03, 2008, 11:22:40 AM
lol that'd be a no then lol, when the invoice for my hooves arrive i'll get them to add some brackets to the order, hopefully at no extra cost, as long as they're pretty sensible.  They did say the feet would definately fit, so i can pull the 'but you said they would fit' card on them if they're annoying, or just e-mail pro-jump support and say the bracket on my old generation stilts broke and did they have any part lying about
490  Powerising / Problems / Re: EVO binding upgrade for the 7leagueboots. on: July 03, 2008, 09:02:24 AM
O.o falling off, as in not just the buckle coming undone???

...if thats the case then they're probably dodgy bindings...and your nitro bindings are probably better anyway, though i dunno, i'm still on standard PJ ones, which aren't THAT bad
491  Powerising / Problems / Re: What trick can I do? on: July 03, 2008, 08:36:26 AM
...try tilting your footplate back a bit using the nuts on the supportbars (keep them even though, don't want to kill the stilts), shifts your weight back onto your heels more, or just put more on your heels manually, i just found tilting the footplate helped quite a bit
492  Everything Else / Powerising Stories / Re: Redeemed's blog of bocking awesomeness on: July 02, 2008, 09:46:59 PM
that IS a weird boink sound, umm could be from the part of the bracket that goes across the front/back of the stilt, as in the sticky out part that doesn't have the bolts going through it, jusrt sounds like thats twanging slightly on something, apart from that haven't got a clue...oh and nice bail Tongue
493  Everything Else / Anything Else Powerisers / Re: A Nice Long List Of Names on: July 02, 2008, 09:23:48 PM
lol evryone round my little village knows me now, mostly as bouncyman or some variation, so much so that i was walking to the bank on foot earlier and someone was like 'what happened to your legs, they're better' lol xD
494  Everything Else / Anything Else Powerisers / Re: A Nice Long List Of Names on: July 02, 2008, 09:08:30 PM
was in town the other day, and some chav came up to me and asked:
 'are you a horse?'
me: yes, i am a horse, neigh

...might be due to the fact my tiresocks make the clop sound quite a bit, need to tighten them sometime.

...oh and do we have jumpjump man, bouncyman and oi you cripple! yet?
495  Powerising / Modifying Powerisers / Re: Changing hooves on: July 02, 2008, 08:15:42 PM
yeah will do, though i've probably got something similar lying around the shed or in local hardware stores, but i spose it's probably best to get the official part.

so, no bending at all, not even a tiny bit, pwetty pwease? xD
