...Well dude, I know your country goes a bit crazy with the stupid law-suites ...and it has some other problems too ...but America is known for doing things big. And as such, the best trampoline courts in the world exist in the good old U.S. of A. Check this out. The trampolines are of an inferior quality... as are the people using them. But you all know you want to go there!.... I hope they have success with this biz. I truely hope Im wrong in my assumption they will not make it. Go to your local Uni that has an exercise science lab. Bet they would LOVE for you to bounch on their force plate.
Would be interesting to put transducers under the shoes and see how much the body takes compared to what the hoof takes. That would be little tricker unless they got one hell of a lab.
Sounds like a good masters or doc. disertation to me.

wwhats the difference between the two types of tramps you said coachgeo?!... String beds are just that... made of string. The weave is more like how the strings of a tennis racket is done. An open weave, but with springs on the edges. You can sorta see thru them like a racket . The weave is open yet just tight enough not to catch your toes/fingers in etc. They are hard to come by in the US. Little more available in Euro world from my perspective. My guess is that whole tramp set up in the video... if it's string beds like I think they are... cost somewhere between 20 and 25 grand USD. The kind that will be used in the Olympics this summer are string beds. They are actually called Eurobeds. Ones in Australia are called Ausie beds (like duhhhh LOL) The bounce reaction on string beds is far supperior to the other beds. You have to have a different frame too. They will bend a cheapo tramp frame. Thus usually the whole tramp is often 2 to 4 times more expensive than typical back yard tramps. String bed alone is around 1500 USD. Most all other tramp beds you might say are constructed of a flat thick heavy cloth made of nylon. You can't see thru them. Here in the states they are usually black.

...You bring up a good point here coach, which makes me wonder about walking long distances while wearing bocks. ...
yep a trade off for sure. Short bocking fun should be alright. Especially with the learning curve taken into account. I suspet that in the beginng while learning the durrationis short spurts and this may help develop some muscles to help counter the downard forces. A bit different than just throwing on ankle weights. As to long distance... yeah... I could see a problem. If I had the bucks I would take a quality knee brace with hinges... and above and below knee attachements and turn them into long calf cuffs to hold ones bocks on. This would help eliminate the concerns were speaking off.

grrrrrrrrr My landlord (my bizs former owner) implied to me over and over she was up for the idea for me to dig pits in my building for my athletes. I just spent nearly 8 grand toward this goal buying porta pits to fill the pitts and while setting up delivrey for all the mats I bought, she messaged me that as my landlord she has decided to not allow us to dig pits.
SAYYYYY WHATTTTTTT...... she screwed me and our athletes soooooo bad.
but when theire is a will there is a way. I've got some plans in the works to make things better with what I got.
By the way are those solid tramp beds or string tramp beds? Most the yellow beds I know are string, but in Euro world they do color things different. From what I see they seem to bounce like string beds in the video.
I hear we use to have Tramp courts like that here in the US but lawyers and their law suites drove them out of business way back in the 70's. No way could such an animal could exist these days in the US. Liability would be astronomical.

... We're paying out the arse while ExxonMobil is posting BILLIONS in profits. That's just wrong. Folk keep forgetting that these are publicaly traded companies. Those billions are going to yor neighbors who had the forsight to invest in oil comapnies and/or oil commodities. Also the math shows that this profit is actually only pennies per gallon by the time you take into account refining etc. "Personal Responcibility" Gett off your arse and ride a bike more often, walk more often, Bock more often etc. I needed a car and on purpose spent the extra cash to get a used small Diesel. Nearly 50mph and will run vege fuels once I get moved into my home and get my shop set up. Got nearly fify gals of used cooking oil waiting for me to use. I just can't wait for the day we can tell all the OPEC nations to go stick it. Hey, I can dream can't I?... My dream too.... so do something about it. Now that my home will be a half hour commute from my biz I'm seriously considering getting a diesel motorcycle built for me. Yeah babby.... can you say 100mpg!!!

I made my own. was about 6 dollars per bock.
Long straps where large dog collars with the same style plastic squeeze clasp. The short one that holds the others in place is same type collar and clasp but made for small animals like cats.
Works fine for me and I ended up with some rather stylish. The dog collar ones are blue with flames on them.
oh.... if you make any yourself. Keep in mind where you locate the clasp so that if you fall you dont break the clasp or have it dig into your skin etc.

Powerising / Injuries / Re: Knee problem

... I started this week wearing 5 lb ankle weights all day at work (I sit at my desk most of the day, but up and down two long flights of stairs, and then walking to lunch.) Seems to be working some as my legs are a bit sore in the evening. I just sound like I have maracas strapped to my feet! Last I heard this was not really reccomended. Ankle weights PULL downward on a joint (the knee) that is intended to take forces upward. Now realisticly... to a sore knee I can see how these might help at first. The downard pull might cause other muscles to tighten to and this tightening takes stress off the sore area. IMHEO I would NOT wear they while walking or doing stairs. Wear them while sitting and do occasionaly leg extensions to near lock or as far as you can under your desk. You can also "write" the Alpahbet or spell dirty words etc. with your big toe like it was a pencil tip. A pencil with the knee being the erasier end. Going thru all these twisting ranges of motion is good rehabe for the knee.

Did a load on Concrete today.. think im getting a little better.. ....
Well done Kiola. Thats pretty much the right part of your flip to execute your twist. This video should be everyones goal for barani execution. IMHEO. You can see pretty clearly he gets his flip going first before twisting. For those learning..... don't think you can start off learning this skill twisting at the spot where he does though. Shoot for a later twist. The natural tendency is for the timing of twisting to creep earlier into the flip so if you try to twist at the right spot at first your technique will creep into an earlier twist and mess you up. Start with a late twist and let it creep to the right spot for you on its own. You'll learn it faster, better, and be able to work out of it more effectively. Again, Kudo's to you Kiola.

...We have to borrow money from goverment to pay for our education... Then pay it all back at the end! (Plus interest due to inflation!) So before you even have a job you have debts to pay off... It's ridiculous, but the only way to get anywhere in the world The process, though under a different name, when all is said and done that is bascially how it ends up in America also. Yet; any thing worth anything, you have to work for. That rings true no matter what country you live in and that is how it should be. Some time the wisest way to work it out is an advance monitary "investment", sometimes it's advance pretraining etc. That's just how the cookie crumbles.

Powerising / Problems / Re: over the weight class???

Here in the US that is a law suit waiting to happen. And thin people wouldn't Anyone not fit; rather it be high body fat ratio, or low muscle mass ratio etc. is not ready to be bocking in my humble educated experience. Body weight being high or low does not matter. Fitness level does. Now... like you say... If Doc OK's it and proper safety aids and fall recovery training happens.... then Bock On. Desire to get into Bocking would be a great incintive to improve fitness levels enough to be ready for Bocking though. A great goal to shoot for. Maybe Mini Bocks like Kanga Jumps along the way as a sub goal? While personal responcebility "should" come into play a lawyer is damn good at working their way around that and cleaning your bank out... while I say that; at the same time I hate this fact that business folk even have to consider "legal risk managament" so strongly.

...I glad to hear larger people want to bock .... This is a catch 22 situation. A fit larger person who has/is athletic (knows how to take a fall) then go for it. If their large due to lack of fitness then Bocks and that mix are asking for injury from just a simple foot trip up or imbalance. Here in the US that is a law suit waiting to happen.
