Mine came with some extra strapping and I was trying to work out if it was some kind of carry strap?

I would also recommend trying to compare the safety of them to another sport, perhaps Roller Blading or something. I couldnt possible comment as I am actually yet to get up on mine and take a single step, but I really cant imagine it being anymore dangerous than falling over on a Skate Board or Blades. But thats something else that puts people off... They think they are unsafe. But then again, after my Dad had an investigate he totally changed his view and thats saying something. So I would recommend letting people have a really close look at them too.

I will be honest with you, I think they promote themselves pretty damn well and you bouncing around town should be good enough to gain attention. But I do beleive the 2 things that put people off is the cost (Which I actually dont think is that bad) and the fact you have to be slightly extravert to have the guts to get up and prance around on them. So if you can find ways to get around that, awesome!

Hello Carma and welcome to the gang!! Where abouts in London are you?? Me and Muncher live in Southeast london/Kent area and are totally willing to teach you the ropes. How long you had your bocks for? Jelly x

Well I actually live in Gravesend so I'm in kent too Janelle. And I can meet anywhere in central London really as I work in London Bridge, By the way, theres an awesome park in London Bridge that might be a great place to meet. Near the Mayors building. Also, I have all the kit (PARTICULARLY wrist protectors!!!) but I am yet to get a bash hat, now obviously its going to be essential once I get running and such but would you guys still recommend getting one while I am just learning to stand?

I am one of those people who learns best by trial and error... But I get the feeling its going to be so much more fun should I have a fellow bouncer to show me the reigns first hand. So I am calling for anyone out there who is willing to help out an enthusiastic newbie find her rubber tipped feet? I think one of the London parks would be best for me... So anyone?

Rock on all! Finally a place I have been looking for. My name's Carma, I am the proud owner of a brand new set of Powerizers!!! However, I have recently learnt that they are harder than first anticipated to get the inicial hang of so I am here for some help. And hopefully meeting people I can hang out with and go bouncing around London with!
