  dont worry bout falling over. After getting my PK's out of the box I had a total of 20min  in 2 sessions walking up and down my hallway with hands braced against the walls.

Then it was out real time ( un thanks to tundrah who joined me to give some tips). Went on a 4 mile bock ( i didnt know when we started it would be that long!) Fell over  within a few min! But only that once!

Been out 3 times now OK im only walking  but doing it in the dark OK.

I really was amazed how easy it was to pick up. Id say join other bockers at earliest oppertunity. They will know u ( or me) r crap  but onlookers will not indeed will look at the hot shots.

Last thing --- I know there r the grisley pix un amusingly painful youtube clips. But, in my limited experience, if wearing the right pads a str8 4ward 'topple' is really hardly hurts atall ( fingers crossed I donr come to regret that comment next time out)

Why, may I ask, make them lighter?

How many grams r u going to gain by drilling extra holes etc in to them?  Not very many Id have said --- wouldnt the time needed be better spent using the PK's and loosing the weight of one's body instead?  Indeed as  this will b higher up the result would b to lower the centre of gravity and 'tipping point'  which argueable is more important when it comes to performance? And vice versa  making the PK's lighter would raise the point, wouldnt it?

A journalist/photographer who thinks she/he has a story will push it on2  the sister publications  4 us id have thought.  un there is a good chance that early jan will b a weak time 4 news  so a 'silly/ new way to get fit/ avoid conjestion charge' story might go well
