3677  Powerising / Practising / Re: Tramoleaning on: January 27, 2007, 08:13:29 PM
Well just had my 3rd lesson on the tramp ( and im a lesson behind the rest). Im now at the '1/2 sumasualt' stage  which im doing OK ( the instructor rightly  is making me do it over and over so i do it un thinking).

I also let her know i wanted the tramp skills 4 bocking, so she has cut out most of the seat drop stuff and gone str8 for what i want.  But others in the class have noticed ive gone str8 for the 'big 1' and r a lil unhappy Grin Ive tried to say ' hey u getting the whole course, im just getting the edited hilites' dont think any of us believe it hehe.

But its going good  and i think it really does help.

3681  Powerising / UK / Re: Dorset?? (dorchester) on: January 27, 2007, 06:46:25 PM
U might want to see if the train to bournemouth  goes on to stop at pokesdown ( 1 stop behond). I say this cos that station is about 250m from a skate park. Whilst we have not desided exactly where we will go ( mayb tundrah and I to put our heads together as we know area best), wouldnt be a bad idea to keep options open

3685  Powerising / Jurassic Jumpers - Dorset / Re: Jurrasic Jumpers on: January 26, 2007, 07:55:18 PM
almost  ment both risers upside down  ---think some1 somasulting and a picture taken just b4 or just after vertical. Its just an idea to throw in
3686  Powerising / Videos / Re: Out and about practicing!! on: January 26, 2007, 07:52:22 PM
Modding also seems to be doing silly things to ones risers. Such as wrapping them in faux fur ( well it is winter and cold out) or even writing your website addi on the springs

And u r def up to JJ standards --well behond me anyways. We are planning to have a meet once a month  so who knows  we may ask you to run around portland and weymouth finding spots 4 us to jump around in the future.  So hope u can get along to bournemouth on the 17th
3687  Powerising / Jurassic Jumpers - Dorset / Re: Jurrasic Jumpers on: January 26, 2007, 07:42:50 PM
Well the second logo  kinda looks  painful Grin  try doing it in real life ) also the bottom of 1 of the risers is missing  but im sure that could b put back)

Alterantivly, why not turn the risers upside down and just show the feet and foot plates would b less cluttered then? As if at top of a flip

Sprog  im sure i can find you the money --will just mean going out on my bike 4 a couple of extra hours in this cold weather Cheesy

3688  Powerising / Where to Powerise / Re: I live in America. AH MAY RICK AH. on: January 26, 2007, 06:30:10 PM
Id agree most people here are from the UK. And being from the US you feel left out.  But from the UK end it looks like alot of individuals and a few groups isolated around the country ( well lots of counties -- think about our 2 members in Australia) trying to reach out. But as UK is smaller more densly populated and has more powerisers, we seem to have more to say.

Id be as interested to read about people meeting up in RI or Sweden as I would in Dorchester ( my county town), in that respect distance isnt an issue. Whilst as for actually meeting people, I think im as likely to visit Miami as I am Edinburgh ( no offence Matt-- it was v nice the 1 time i did pop in)

So Id like to see stories and notes from all over the UK, USA, Oz, Sweden and more. With hopefully an organised international meet once a year, Sweden this year USA next.

PS  we have a member in the arabian peninsular  id love to read a post from him. We keep moani9ng its cold and wet, what is it like in the extreme opposite  and what do the locals think of the made Englishman Grin

No 1  i was wondering, if an artical in a newspaper is worth 2000 bocking points  what is a spot on telly worth Grin
3690  Powerising / UK / Re: Dorset?? (dorchester) on: January 26, 2007, 02:31:24 PM
Matt seriously  dont worry about ability  im the worst  and just watching the others will make u jump foreward in leaps and bounds.

Ru the person Sprog contacted,  or is there still another person in weymouth?

Re the 2000 bocking points, I trust that will be a lesson to Kiola ---'honesty is the best policy' Grin  and I wonder how many u get for a spot on telly?!! Shocked
