hey slow down ollie, its is quite legal for esco to send us stuff. what im saying is the idea that it is illleagal for us in the UK to buy something, via the internet, in germany ourselves is quite bogus. the EU stands for ' the free exchange of goods' And thankyou esco 4 offering by the way )

years ago me un a m8 hitched in2 walse un headed for aberwystwyth ( mainly cos my sister then bf now hubby was a student there un we would get a warm bath un a roof over our heads) . entered a 3-1 welsh to english speaking house hold. And i have to say they were v nice un welcoming as soon as me or my m8 entered the room they switch from welsh to english. But we did come acropper we went off 1 day to go to porth merrion ( where they made the prisoner). WE were sure we were hea,ded in the right direction cos the signs kept pointing the right way ----we later found out it was welsh for 'foot path'

its not a case of upsetting individuals. Im talking a general point of law. The european Union stands for the 'free exchange of goods, services and ideas' you cant have something 4 sale in germany that it is illeagal to buy or export to the UK. There may be legitimate commercial reasons 4 acting in some way but that is not above the law.
Some1 tell me different?!

oo wot esco doing no probs. it the official word from a company saying they can sell in germany but not Uk ---that is i think illeagal, contravines the treaty of rome. IF u import to german , or greece or swedem u import to ALL of european union i dont think there r 'patent issues' between these countries

oo yeah more the merrier. right the riser itself ---a lil ridgid. maybe make it a bit cartoonish --bendy more 'human'? twist the knee brace in manner of a an arm -wrist on head elbow against wall. Coupled wiith footplate shifted in other direction ( or would that b too camp?)
Have over sized foot sox on too

yeah think hoop un 'backboard' wiv the riser leaning on hoop to board , holding, capturing the ball in place, suggesting that the riser is 'master' of the situation and means there is no uncertainty as to wot type of ball it is
Will give the pix more depth and interest too ( sorry i got simon scharmas latest book on art 4 chrimbo)

Thankyou for that. Dont worry about your ability its very OK. You are very lucky to have other bockers so close. Im sure it is the same on German forums you have lots of single people asking if there is anyone near them.

Erm wasnt sure where to put this comment ( so its here) and couldnt find any of the bits that may link to this.
But ive read things about poweriser updates un add-ons that can be purchased in German but not in the UK for 'patent reasons'?
Erm how does that work. Ok someone in germany or austria may not wish to get into the hassel of couriering things over national boarders , fair enuff. BUT THE UK AND GERMAN ARE PART OF THE EUROPEAN UNION . Now dont exactly quote me but Im sure a central part of the original Treaty of Rome went on about ' THE FREE EXCHANGE OF, GOODS, SERVICES AND IDEAS'. There may be exceptions 4 local reasons ( most memorably some drugs --both recreational and medicinal- may be licienced in 1 country but not another) but they should be deemed exceptions.
If a product can be legally sold in germany could some1 please tell me why it cant be sold in the Uk?
