yep for some reason Sussex is a wee bit of a bocking black hole. I can o round the coast from Humberside to cardiff and name people in very county, except W& Sussex. Until now! Besides you 'Gibbo' is moving to Bogner --got a job as a redcoat. If you look at the 'wal for life' dancing vid  he is one of the 2 at the front --and Im glad to tell you --its not the nutta!

Oh and there is /or was a shop in brighton that sold the things --maybe some1 reading this will have their memory jogged and post the name.

Considering the numbers in Kent, Hnamshire and Dorset, there should be a sizable number your way. But as noted almost no1 registered.

Big Ta 1st to CryuiseAid   for running such a well staged event. Water begging middle end  stewards at every corner.Start point so supurb.

Potters field is sandwiched betweed city hall and tower bridge and opposite the tower of london and 100m down stream of hms belfast.

I broke a stabaliser rod  but with only ten me to go  so just made it. Tho not hlpd by Jason earlier landing on my foot. Yep he jumped and footplate landed on toes    very ooch!!

Oh hope we have pix of the 'flip flop' trannies!!!!

morning all. 0606 here, gotta 'phone Gibbo soon to wake him up. Weather forcast is 14-18 degrees with cloud cover ( but I suspect will be shade giving rather than depressing type) Which seems ideal.

Joe has desided against the 'buzz' look. on grounds will be fab at 50m at 5 K will not be too good.

0630  update Gibbo not answering 'phone.  Big accident on road from Dorchester --Joe has been diverted and may not get to train in time

0635  Gibbo has woken up

Colin is here

220  Everything Else / Introductions / Re: Hi from Hull! on: May 31, 2008, 12:02:02 PM
Yep  dont worry about springs braking. Projump have a 1 year warrenty I believe. Like Athoul Ive had my 7's over a year --and I bock alot ---and they are fine.

But it is only fair to say 'nothing lastsd forever'. I look at it like this take into account the cost of thestilts and safty gear and bocking should cost 50p or less an hour ( more if you use gyms or drive about). That seems reasonable.  At 6 months Ineeded new hooves  ( and Id used my 7's thru summer) cost £34. If Id been running  a similar amount Id have gotten thru 2 or 3 pairs of running shoes.

So basically once you have got the kit you are sorted. No bif suprises, hooves wear down (like shoes) and springs gradually loose springyness ( but as Athoul mentioned , time scale think 2 years --then £90 replacement).

Do Do go out and get some
