Unfortunately, according to the reviews, you're more likely to find yourself sleeping with a colony of bed bugs, instead.

Man! I never even knew these places existed in Manhattan. But from reading the reviews, some of them are pretty nasty despite the nice photos.

Wow. That whitehouse hotel does look like a great place to crash for real cheap, and in Manhattan no less. http://www.whitehousehotelofny.comAnyway... I'd never heard about this place. Looks interesting and probably easy to get to the first bocking location using the subway. Would save money. I'd say go for it, but I see they don't generally accept anyone under 16 and I think Zan would be out? Bill C.

Yeah. Someone meaning myself. I didn't foresee Sprog doing reseach on it. Unfortunately, I have no samples at this time to give out due to the fact that I handed most over to my licensee and my wife and daughter are hoarding the rest. Your friend is going to have to hold out just a little longer. Know of any stations in your region of Michgan with funny morning drive-time DJs? Bill C.

Your'e a resourceful little bastard. I wouldn't feel sorry for me considering what is about to happen with it. Time will tell. Can't say more. Bill C.

Pendragon, How are you planning on getting here from Michigan? Driving?
Oh, I just looked at the map. Looks like a do-able 8 to 10 hour drive. Just try not to hit NYC rush hour on a Friday if you can help it. (About 4pm to 7pm)

The way I look at it is no two people are the same, and some people just fall outside of the range that is considered to be the average "norm". I have taught a martial arts self defense class for the deaf and blind -- proving that a person's limitations (or lack of) are not always obvious.

Very cool, Sprog. I have yet to play with character modeling and character animation. There is just so much to learn in Lightwave -- lighting, texturing, UVs, rigging, morphing, environment, etc. But it is enjoyable, especialy when you start to see the results you are trying for.

Hey E.T. I think you should rent the movie "Ghostbusters" before your move. Pendragon, I'm really a novice at Lightwave because there is such as huge learning curve to be really good at 3D animation and rendering -- as you must know. I looked at may photos of the actual GB props and rendered the metal texture based on what I saw on those props. Some props were very different from each other, but you couldn't detect that in the movie. I also tried to apply some "dust" effect to it to make it look a little grungy. An expert could do a much better job at it. Bill C.

Nothing to do with bocking, but I just thought I'd put this under "General Talk" where we can discuss anything and everything.
After the recent discussion about CGI renders, I felt like posting my most recent 3D CG model I built and rendered just for fun using Lightwave. I needed the practice -- and this was a bit of a challenge for me.
