If you're at 80 you'll be fine if you've got good technique Smiley
2  Powerising / Practising / Re: how old is the oldist person you have seen bocking? on: March 11, 2008, 04:48:28 PM
Yeah, there definitely seem to be a few people in their early 50's who are proper hardcore bockers - one of the S&S team included Smiley  I don't really count people who get on them once and have a bit of a walk Cheesy

The springs are optimised for different things.  The X spring is a little bit more hardcore!  (An extra 10kg more hardcore, in fact)
4  Purchasing Powerisers / Choosing the Right Model / Re: Getting all confused!! on: March 09, 2008, 11:03:37 PM
So you're about 80 kilo's - not a borderline case, pretty straight-forward.  Just follow the size advice on the other threads and you'll be fine  Smiley

6  Purchasing Powerisers / Where to Buy / Re: Question on: March 07, 2008, 04:20:53 PM
You've also got Poweriser Originals in-between the ProJumps and the Advanced model, both in terms of cost and quality Smiley
7  Powerising / Injuries / Re: I fell over, again :) on: March 07, 2008, 09:48:06 AM
Everyone seems to be getting elbow injuries.  Wear elbow pads, people!
8  Everything Else / Anything Else Powerisers / Re: Perfect springs, your thoughts about.. on: March 03, 2008, 02:52:45 PM
You have to think about the fibre and the resin when looking at something like this; it's pretty complex when you get down to it.  I'm looking forward to hearing more about these mystery springs - but you know what they say about something that seems too good to be true - it usually is Wink

What you're talking about is a spring superior to S-rex or Powerskip springs but without the fatigue issues, made of a material you've only just discovered but have been able to rapidly get made into a shape suitable for fitting to a standard Bock frame?

I'm sure you can understand my scepticism Smiley

Ah, also to jump on the lazarus thread - Adam, I work in letchworth Cheesy  Didn't know there was anyone else in my fair county.  What's the deal with your gym sessions?
12  Purchasing Powerisers / Where to Buy / Re: calf cuffs on: February 20, 2008, 10:23:48 AM
Is there anyone in Europe willing to send some over to the UK?
13  Everything Else / Anything Else Powerisers / Knee/Shin Guards on: February 19, 2008, 03:24:10 PM
So I know a lot of you guys use knee pads with shin guards to make your knee bars more comfortable, but has anyone tried these ones?  I haven't seen anyone with them yet, so wondering how they compare to the more common (and slightly cheaper) ones.
14  Purchasing Powerisers / Choosing the Right Model / Re: Poweriser 2007 Vs. 7 Leagues on: February 19, 2008, 01:30:51 PM
Just to give people an update, I caved and abused the credit card, and so my 7League S-rex type-X's arrived at my parents house yesterday!!  YAY!  Unfortunately, I won't be able to pick them up for almost two weeks!  Cry

Much love to the RTX guys Smiley

That's where I got my Camo hockey tape from - seems reasonable price, and plenty of options as far as colour goes  Smiley
