Good luck if your gonna try it, I would really suggest speaking to Locky about this as he organised a 12hour Jumpathon for Children in Need.

Yeah i was gonna put that but i'm not sure if they are all selling the same generation of FlyingLocusts.
681  Purchasing Powerisers / Choosing the Right Model / Re: Durability? on: February 29, 2008, 03:16:32 PM
Also there isn't any point in putting PoweriZer and FlyJumpers as a seperate category because they are exactly the same stilts

Yeah totally agree, its like with vaulting, once you do it once you wonder why you didn't do it before.
683  Powerising / Videos / Re: Front flips onto grass on: February 29, 2008, 10:13:53 AM
Yeah, i did some last friday when some of us met up in Dorchester and the first one you just have to go, F**K it!!!
When you bail and find out that it doesn't hurt you can just keep trying.
Joe was doing backflips which made me want to push myself to get the front flips done.
684  Powerising / Videos / Front flips onto grass on: February 28, 2008, 09:17:23 PM

Finally had the balls to try a front flip on grass, these are my second attempts, did some in Dorchester on Friday but the video i had taken then got wiped off the memory card so i had to go do some more to get video evidence!

Also look for trampoline tutorials on YouTube

The way i teach people to do it is:

Imagine your holding a football above your head
Do an overhead throw and bring your knees into your chest and grab your knees with your hands.

Once you have got the front flip done you can try variations such as splitting your legs on the way over or crossing them on the way over, also try doing a flip without using your arms to grab your legs, i find it much easier to land if i don't grab my knees.
