To solve the squeaking you should take them apart and cover all the brass bushings with copper grease or similar, if you don't have any copper grease then you could use wd40, squirt some on the joints then bounce around a bit, and repeat until squeaking has gone.
Taping the spring is to protect the spring from impacts, there is usually a thin covering over the springs but this get chipped very easily and if the spring gets chipped and damaged it will significantly lessen its life.

Looks an amazing spot, looks a lot bigger on the video than i thought it was from the photo you put up. You could spend hours there, looks like there is something for everyone, small jumps upto huge ones. What is it actually?
Its a fountain but hasn't got the water in it at the moment, here is the photo of the whole thing XS posted:

There is a large group called B-bounce who own a gym in Bradfod, Stevie is the owner and normally welcomes people along to the gym. Send him a pm and see what he says.
Other than that use the search functions on the forum and put in Doncaster and other major towns around you and see who comes up

Powerising / Problems / Re: Top of spring bruising hamstring. Adjustments possible?

I am really not understanding this padding it with foam lark. Surely this will make the problem worse, as it decreases the distance between the back of the leg and the spring mount, increasing the chance of impact? It means that instead of impacting a solid peice of metal you impact a soft bit of foam and therefore reduces the bruising

Welcome the world of bocking There are quite a few people in your area if you want to meet up, mitt joined a couple weeks ago and i'm pretty sure he is in Atlanta. To find the others do a quick search of Atlanta in the forum search and send a few pm's and emails to see if they are still bocking Hope this helps and i'm looking forward to seeing your first steps

Yeah, your just being impatient.
Don't expect to be getting 6ft of air straight away, i've had my bocks for 18months now and i'm still only getting about 4-5ft.
Keep practicing and your technique will improve and get higher

Powerising / Learning Tips / Re: Just learnt to flip, but what else?

How confidently are you landing your flips? 100% of the time? 50% of the time? One thing I found quite fun was doing an X out front flip. The way i learnt to do this was get a football or similar and put it between your feet, do a front flip and let go of the ball while in the flip, once you got this you can keep going and open your legs even more each time. Apart from that the next step is backflips but that takes a lot of confidence to get over the fear of going over backwards
