1  Powerising / Problems / Re: broke my bocks :( plz help on: Yesterday at 09:03:57 PM
Well if you want to meet up with some people there are bockers in the Nottingham area including Powergirl who is very active on the forums.

If you want to find more use the forum search and type in some of the surrounding towns and see who pops up

You don't take the plastic covering off you just add the tape ontop of it, the plastic covering is added protection so taking it off would be a step in the wrong direction

5  Everything Else / General Talk / Re: Anyone panic buying carrots? on: Yesterday at 08:16:12 AM
Sounds like a big waste of money, seeing as how many of those carrots will go to waste.

But they won't go to waste as about 100,000 thousand of those members have also joined the group to make all their carrots into soup and give it to the homeless  Cheesy

It gives us something else to think about rather than the credit crunch or something else more serious
7  Everything Else / General Talk / Anyone panic buying carrots? on: May 14, 2008, 10:45:49 PM
Anybody else taking part in this crazy idea?

The whole idea is that on the 15th May everybody should panic buy carrots, go to a supermarket and buy as many carrots as you can.
The whole crazy idea started off with a guy who thought it up when he was drunk and made a facebook group which has got over 230,000 members.

Anybody else this silly?
8  Powerising / Problems / Re: I don't want to be a bock, I want to be a mouse! on: May 13, 2008, 06:20:37 PM
To solve the squeaking you should take them apart and cover all the brass bushings with copper grease or similar, if you don't have any copper grease then you could use wd40, squirt some on the joints then bounce around a bit, and repeat until squeaking has gone.

Taping the spring is to protect the spring from impacts, there is usually a thin covering over the springs but this get chipped very easily and if the spring gets chipped and damaged it will significantly lessen its life.

10  Powerising / Problems / Re: Binding digging in on: May 11, 2008, 09:42:09 PM
I think so, can't you just push the binding down and then tighten it so it doesn't dig in there?
11  Powerising / Problems / Re: Binding digging in on: May 11, 2008, 09:38:15 PM
I've never heard of this problem before but i'l try and help.

Firstly what shoes are you wearing?

Looks an amazing spot, looks a lot bigger on the video than i thought it was from the photo you put up.
You could spend hours there, looks like there is something for everyone, small jumps upto huge ones.

What is it actually?
Its a fountain but hasn't got the water in it at the moment, here is the photo of the whole thing XS posted:

There is a large group called B-bounce who own a gym in Bradfod, Stevie is the owner and normally welcomes people along to the gym. Send him a pm and see what he says.

Other than that use the search functions on the forum and put in Doncaster and other major towns around you and see who comes up
14  Powerising / Problems / Re: Top of spring bruising hamstring. Adjustments possible? on: May 10, 2008, 07:08:28 PM
I am really not understanding this padding it with foam lark.Huh
Surely this will make the problem worse, as it decreases the distance between the back of the leg and the spring mount, increasing the chance of impact?

It means that instead of impacting a solid peice of metal you impact a soft bit of foam and therefore reduces the bruising
