After the photo box thing some of us went to McDonalds and got chucked out, se we crosed the read to burger king and got food there... lol. Then we got chucked out of that area by a street arist saying we were taking 'his' public away from him. Sore ass.
Obviously add that to the list of McDonalds to avoid, Piccadilly circus didn't have too many problems with us. We avoided eating in though because we thought the stairs to the seating in the basement looked a little too adventurous. Will find the photos later...

Don't know about reunion yet, is only a short trip but don't know anyone whos definitely going.
The 100s belonged to Ben, I've only got 80s. If I had 100s I'd effectively just have some funny shaped single poles!

We've been getting hit before the jamboree even started, mainly because scouts were founded here in Poole! Which makes me wonder why the Jamboree wasn't held here too Yeh there's been a series of camps going on at Brownsea before and during the main Jamboree. Poole probably wouldn't have been a suitable venue in all honesty. Hylands has the advantage of being a large open area use to dealing with large scale events eg V festival. Also the 'local' area has the transport infrastructure necessary for a full scale international including proximity to London. Becky, unfortunately I was meant to be Marshalling the OST for the opening ceremony so thought of my bocks never crossed my mind. We did all have some fun entertaining at the end of Sunrise day at Gilwell tho which I'm hoping my mate has some good photos of.

Becky, I Thought I saw you wandering round Gilwell one day armed with the camera, obviously I was right. The Stiff and Stilted guys were permanently busy, if it wasn't kids it was leaders/staff playing. Bit boggy under foot in places for the first few days but I had the advantage of type socks on mine.

Should have me and my housemate joinin after i finally got her out on hers and hooked at weekend - made watching the Tour de France so much easier seeing over the crowds on Sat.
Travel info: (maybe useful for non londoners)
Victoria line is planned to be closed that weekend at the mo on tube
For peeps coming into town from outside i'd advise buying travelcards, sometimes you can get them included on your rail ticket for just a couple extra quid. Zone 1-2 travelcard is about £5.50 if bought on its own but as a single tube journey costs £4 these days you can see the value... Also if you are all arriving in london as a group I think you can get group rate on travelcards if theres 10 or more, just ask at tube ticket office.
hope thats help to somebody..

Of the 316 people at the camp 12 had bocks, that had brought them with them! (4 people had left them at home!!)
Have you counted us two lincs lads who were intermittently playing on ours in your 12, although we missed out on the games...we were having some issues with the slippy wet grass and frame fatigue.
