I just tried out my pro powerisers.  I don't have a problem walking around in them except for a few issues.  I bought the pro powerisers with the movable foot plate, but i don't see what benefits it gives.  The only time I have fell was when I accidentally planted my foot and since the foot pads rotate downwards I went of balance.  Just wondering  if I need to change anything to make walking easier or should i just get used to always having to dorsi flex my foot?

when matt uploaded his video about the pros he said it was just a bit strange at first getting used to having a moving foot plate i guess its just one those things a bit of practise and you will have it in no time =)

isnt it easier to run in them? It certainly looks as though you can run a little more normal in them and with smaller steps if that makes any sense.

hey blackmath03..........

i actually have a the poweriser pro's and i think there amazing alothough if you read my other post entitled poweriser pro's you would read that i actually havnt had a go on the origonals. i would say however the feel allot more natural to run in as they have the rotating accel. dont feel so flat footed  suppose.

i found like you though when i first started that i did tend to lean to far farward and sometimes lose ballance but with time i got used to the extra element of ballance and now it just like having your legs extended with a big old bounce.

how long have you had them HuhHuhHuh?

I've had my pros since last thursday.  We've been having pretty terrible weather her in Illinois, but I have had a few chances to get out and try them out.  I'm finding it a little easier to  move around on them.  It still seems that i have to make myself walk flat footed to maintain my balance which has given me some bad cramps in the top of my foot.  However, I  am starting to get the hang of walking and jogging normally.  I try to imagine myself not on the stilts as I try to jog and walk and this helps a lot.  I think if i walked the way i did in the stilts in normal shoes i would probably fall too Smiley   Oh well, i'm gettin the hang of it, just wish it wasn't so slick and soggy out so i could mess around more on them.

It's on this Saturday, 20th of January, we are all meeting at the west train station around midday.  Check Check the official thread here

If you do come you can try out my original Powerisers, the spring might be a little too heavy duty for you (I have the 90-120Kg), but it gives you an idea of what the original pair feels like.
