I have a tad problem, i have the feet below...which according to the table of hooves, Pro jump have never sold as spares or as a full pro-jump. They came with the original Pro-jumps i bought. I only ask because of the rubber tab at the top ( i presume this was pre white spacer?) Anyhoo my question is, brought some raptor springs and because of the rubber flap attached to the hoof, the holes don't line up to put the bolt through, so if i cut off/removed the rubber flap would this damage the springs in any way? As prev/current versions of the hoof have no rubber I also notice that the 7's springs don't have any rubber covering where this part is. Any help....plz?

I think i can help you, what you need to do is to get a very sharp wood chisel and carefully shave the rubber on the hoof back to make it a bit thinner. This should create enough space to get the new spring into position. If you find there is still not enough space you will have to cut the rubber off and in its place locate 2 to 3 layers of plastic tape. You want the spring to sit quiet tight in the gap to avoid clicking in the frame so carefully shave the rubber in the first instance and keep checking how the spring fits as you do it.

Hope this helps.. Wink

i'd drill out the rivets, put a piece of thin cardboard there to make you feel good if you want, and then put the spring in.

I'm with XS, drill it out then pad out the gap (if there is one) with either cardboard, or plane down a thin sheet of PVC/plastic (such as the stuff you use on facias on houses), and check it in the gap as your going to make sure you don't plane it down too far... And then fix it in place with either electrical or duct tape, and fit your spring Smiley

Well, that looks like my poweriser hoof.  Superior to the white plastic because it doesn't break.  I'm not sure how it could mess with the alignment of the springs, but you should be fine if you remove it, as long as you slip in something in its place to keep the spring separated from the metal.  It might be fine with as little as a bit of duct tape in between, and as long as the spring doesn't get abraded by the aluminum or dirt, the worst that can happen is it being a bit wobbly.  It's best if the spring is snug in there, and if it isn't after you remove the rubber, just stuff something else in for filler.  Most people use cardboard.

just make sure those two rivets holding the rubber on don't touch the spring cause that could put some odd pressure on it
