I'm not sure if this is possible lol, but is there a way to practise powerising by being inside but without the powerisers off?! Cheesy. Just that over here in Nottingham, it's of course April showers and i can't really go outside because A) It's been raining non-stop and B) It would be too dangerous. I'm not sure if this is possible....but i just wondered really, becasuse i wanted to make the most of my time Smiley.

Cheers.

Only with big head room and alot of clear space ( ask nicely if you can use your school sports hall at lunchtimes --worth a try). In the home too many obsticals --and lets face it  if there is a nice hard coffee table about, its that and not the sofa you will be falling on.

Its a lil extreme, but you could do what i just did --just fly to Mallorca for the weekend Grin)

Yeh, guess i could do that! totally forgot about my school halls. There's 2 Halls, and 1 gym, and 1 gymnasium.

Haha! That WOULD hurt!

I would recommend just finding a place outdoors that is covered.  I have a park near me with a large gazebo and cement floor, so I can bock there even if it rains.  Possibly a multi-level mall car park near you if you live in an urban setting?  Your school may also have a large auditorium with stage that you could bock on after hours?  (Not sure how agreeable the school would be with that one.)  Maybe your school or local office park has a covered area at it's entrance for rainy weekend bocking?  If you live in a very rural area, finding covered areas will probably be difficult.

Just some thoughts.

UPDATE
I just checked out Nottingham via Google Earth and you are in a large urban area, so you should be able to find some place that is outdoors but covered.  But I know at 13 it is dificult to get around.  Certainly not much further than your walking distance local neighborhood.  It will be easier for you when you are old enough to drive and can travel a little further to find various locations.

yeah, i'm at 6th form n what i tend to do is either use the gym in the school. or i find a place outside that has pleny of cover/shelter so if it is raining i won't be in danger or in risk of wearing my hooves down.

You should ask n see if you can use a hall or a gym in your school, thats the best bet.

Yeh i guess i should, thing is my school's gym's and what not are literally always in use because it's the one of the most popular leisure centre's around. So there's usualyl always a gym being used, even in school time, so i might have to figure something out. If i can't then, looks like im going to have to drag my parents into the car to drive me places.

Thanks guys

Okay... So look what I found in Nottingham, just west of the city center.  Looks like some sort of covered round cement area in the middle of a pond (with a walkway crossing to it).  Looks interesting and could be a large open area under that roof.

Hahaha, i live in Leeds and the weather is equally crap up here but i thought what the hell and went outside anyway. Damn, did that hurt. Good choice on asking around a bit but im guessing that your school halls may be taken up by exams and crap, like mine are. Sad

Lol the Nubrella would definitely not work. The problem with the rain is not that you get wet, but that the wet ground makes bocking incredibly difficult. For sure a covered area with good flooring would be the best bet.

I tried bocking when the ground was wet (pavement/sidewalk) with tyresocks made of mountain biking tyres and it was much better than without the sox, though I didn't push it cos i wasn't confident enough.
