im guessing your from the UK due to the site looking like its british. in which case its up to you and how much money your willing to spend. If money isnt a problem ignore both of those and get 7 leagues.

Hello beginner... I have to be very honest with you and tell you not to buy the PoweriZers for gods sake. They are a cheap copy of PoweriSers and shouldnt be touched with a barge pole. My first pair was a pair of PoweriSers but they were a weight size too small for me. So i got a pair of Powerizers and gave my PoweriSers to my other half to learn on before he got his own. BIG MISTAKE!!!! 3 months down the line on the PoweriZers and not on them much, maybe about once a week, the spring snapped on them leaving me bockless and slightly pee'ved off, whilst the perfectly good pair of powerisers went on to be handed to my lil bruv and then on to my other halfs big bruv. Gladly to say we all have new 7 leagues now but the PoweriSers are still going strong and they were purchased in early March. Save yourself the hassle and dish out a little extra for a pair which will see you in to 2008 and not waste good money on crap like PoweriZers and likes of such. jelly x

Good advice from Jelly, she's knows her stuff! Anything from Flying Locust is about as reliable as a chocolate fire guard (Should be awarded a cetificate for services to broken springs 2007)!! Now you don't have to waste your money so get yourself some decent stilts.  Wink

I honestly think you'd be better getting PoweriSers but i've got to be carefull here, some people don't like you to have an opinion... But i'm telling you the truth for what its worth.  Wink

ok getting annoyed and scared...

everyone is saying riZers are hells creation, i have riZers and don't want anything to happen to me / to them. i have asked something similar before but got a dodgy answer...are riZers bad just due to personal preference? i know jelly said they snapped but mine still seem to be doing good, there probably isnt a way of me getting a new set because these were meant to be for this christmas and had to beg to get them

what should i do?

save up to get a new pair of 7 leagues? or just carry on with riZers? and any advise is welcome

as for the people in this thread saying zer's are bad and 7's are god's gift to bocking, well trip sells them, and dawesome is on the 7's team, i wonder if there's just a little bias there hmm.....

you should do nothing, continue bocking, you've got fine stilts, continue bocking and be happy, people will spew crap on the forums all day, in the end you've got bocks that are working just fine so we know its crap.

rizers arent gonna kill you dont worry! just they are very prone to breakages and problems, much more than riSers or 7leagues anyway.

i suggest saving for 7leagues, as in the end i think it would be the cheapest option. They aren't cheap, but u pay for great quality and they will deffinately last you a long time. rizers are cheap and will be fien for a while but in the end, all the replacement parts etc u might end up havign to get and the annoyance of all this just adds up.

and im speaking from my own perspective. I have owned a pair of every brand except skips and havent found a pair that will last me the way i use them other than 7s. plus its not just what i say, most other people agree, especially the people who have been doing it long enough to have tried/owned a few brands. Maybe im biased, and take it as you will if you think that, but maybe im just going on what i believe.

thanks XS..thats what i really wanted to hear Smiley  someone was saying about getting other type parts (like the 7's springs or the risers feet etc) to fit to your bocks...is this possible? or do they have different fittings/sizes?
