I've merged the other (identical) topic into this one since this one is in the correct area of the forum but the other one had more replies. They're all here now and i've deleted the "how many times does this have to be posted" comments Smiley

Andy, as much as people do not like advertising on here, they dont like douple-posts either.

For adding the youtube video?

I only did that so my script would be able to find a thumbnail for it! And also may be easier for some people to view.

I dont mind you editing my posts matt..

Someone has to control the site and you do a good job.

Im a web developer myself and findit all quite interesting.

What does the script do, search through all posts for an object tag and then lists the three most recent ones on the left nav???

Sure Andy.

Let's not let this get too far off topic, but I'll give you a brief description of how it works.
The script retrieves the three most recent posts in the video board, and then parses their first messages for a youtube tag. If their is one, it uses the video code to request from the youtube API the thumbnail of the video, and if there isn't one, it uses a 'no thumbnal available' image.

By the way, was anyone aware that there would be Powerbocks on Jonathan Ross that day? For me it was a complete surprise.
