Give me some details so I know how bad my powerizers suck in comparison.

just off the top of my head, risers weigh about 8lbs each, velocites weight 5.5 lbs each a significant improvement, and thats not just caus they cut out the knee bar, the entire thing is made of lighter stronger alloys

The biggest reason why the Powerskips are more money is the cost of labour not the quality of the product. I talk to many people that have had, a still use both Powerizers and Powerskips professionally. PowerSkip does not guarantee their springs. One professional I know ordered a new pair of springs for his Powerskips, he went out to try them for a jog and one of them snapped, a $350.00 bummer, they wouldn’t send him new ones, he had to buy another pair. Powerizer springs are guaranteed for 6 months from breakage or a new pair will be sent to you free of charge, as well as 1 year warrantee on all other parts from manufacturer defects. It is not true that Powerskips are so so much better they just aren’t. With the Carbon Fibre spring coming out and continued generation changes, the Asian made product will be better than Powerskips in the near future for a fraction of the price, there not far now.

My friend has now aquired a pair of skips and I hope to add a pair to my collection later this year. I think Zakis has a pair of skips on this forum and I have to say the differance in quality from the Chinese PoweriZer to skips is great. I've only had a short try out on them and I was very impressed with the spring pefromance and I even liked the yellow binding system although it takes some extra time to put on.

Again smoother frames, better spring with decent spring protection nicer fittings and fixings..The list goes on. I hope someone else can back this up and this isn't intended as a dig at PoweriZer but in my opinion there is no comparison between the two.

As far as I know it's like it is for buying something like a BMX.  The cheaper models are obviously not as good as the really expensive ones but you wouldn't really notice the difference until you are very good and are pushing what can actually be done on any model

I'm with Bob on that score. Pro-Jumps are great if you've never tried anything else. It's like life without mayo. Chips and sandwiches still taste good but oh my... Along comes mayo...

I had a brief bounce on my sis's 7's... Oh my...

You get the picture.
