Hi All,

As promised, heres my footage from the meetup. Only 3 mins worth but when you're on bocks you dont really want to fall with a camera in hand. Not only will you smash it but you'll scratch the floor too!

Feedback on here or my YouTube account appreciated.

lukey, tundrah, english-tailor, jake49, jody, bmthbloke ( me) and beckie or is it becky?. Plus english tailor's m8 chris and jake's dad as ground support--that is to say spraying wd40 on my creaking risers, picking jody up , going off to by us all coffee and water  taking pix and generally smoothing things out

yeah ground support is good , there will b just odd things u may want  that its difficult to do on risers and as u see in pix weather was terrible, and tumbles happened and they were a great help lifting. They r for the unexpected, mayb never to b repeated insidence.  At one point one of us found themselves standing on vvv slippery ground whilst holding on to a still wet newly painted flag pole 4 support and couldnt move!!! Ground support helped him move to safer ground --now how often is that going to happen. It wasnt me but i did hol on to an adjoining pole and have white paint marks on my coat.

Looking at the video clip and seeing us with back packs and , in my case, big coat and hat and obviously out of place on our risers. It made me think we were like a group of explorers heading for the south pole ---but turned left instead of right Grin

How was the attention when walking in the middle of London. Ok, it was a rainy day, but was it more then normal and where you actually able to bock a lot?

we bocked a few miles id say erm  maybe 6-7 Km but v lil running  but lots of jumping around. Ateention -loads lots of people taking pictures and video via their camphones loads asked questions  people leaning out of cars to talk to us ( oh and this was one of the posher/ expensive parts of London). Loads of people about --its a saturday and still in the january sales period. Indeed if weather was better we would probably stayed in the park and would have been seen by far fewer people.

Un wonderful to see the looks on peoples faces when they walk out of shops and were confronted by us. They might see 1 of us and be amazed, then turn their head and see 6 more and would be bowled over.  On one ocassion jake was jumping along and making that jumping/landing noice  and a young lady turned round to see what the noice was ---and just screamed as Jake made the final jump to within 50cm of here! Cheesy

Un on risers jake is still not that tall ---in fact is the same hieght as tundrah when he is just walking -- and his hair is dry and still sticking up Grin

oo and on the subject of hair  , when we were in the pub having lunch --lukey slipped away ---to fix his hair cos it was such a mess after a morning in the rain Grin

Yeh I've had a fair few girls scream.. mainly when I'm running and they step out infront of me without looking and I have to dodge around them!
It does put you off a bit, especially when you're working
