This vid shows how to stand up from a fall, and how to pick up an object from the ground. (in this case, a hat that has been dropped).   Enjoy!  Coments are welcome on both the technique and the video editing itself.

thanks BA I think you can guess that we want more Grin

To Matt and every1. Would it be an idea to split the video section and have a tutorial section? All submissions having to pass a more rigorous vetting prosess. Only those that are clear complete correct and safe being admitted. Ordered not cronalogically , but as 1 would learn them. Thus noobs could be directed to an easy to follow step by step guide. Whilst the more advanced will see where there are gaps and have a go at makig a vid. I think we have enough to start that now.

Think
1 Lukey's getting started/1st steps
2 BA's getting up
3 Athoul's jumping
4 Athoul's more jumping and vaulting
As a start

There are several teaching styles that can be followed ( so topics can be doubled up as we dont all favour the same way and its good to look at things in a different way). Lukey's jokeyway, BA's clinically exact and Athoul's learn with me style.

With the summer comming , with longer evenings and better bocking weather generally, might it not form the subject of a competion? As we have seen its not  the greatest bocker who has to win here. Indeed many of us learnt how to put our knee pads on from lukey . Grin. To go a little left field Id say it would be ok to do a 'blue peter' style demonstration of making and fitting of a tyre sox or some other mod. Maintenance also, I need to replace a spring - would be nice to have a vid I could watch.
