Well I just got my skip springs in today and I'm gunna do a little competition/comparison to see how they are.  All I have right now are images of the springs untill I get the video together later today or tomorrow.

Ok here's the video.

I havn't even got an hour of use on the new springs yet and they feel better and softer.  They still seem pretty stiff.  I'm sure I'll get used to em and they'll soften up even more.  It does take less effort to jump and it seems like I can get just a little bit more hieght.

Springs cost w/shipping from GJS.com $610.27

I just went for a 10 min night bock after I got done putting em together. and at first it seemed a bit stiff.  Then I started getting into it and I was jumping with less effort and I felt like I was getting some pretty good air.

Tomorrow we'll see em side by side in the video.

You can tell that they're stiffer, if only because you don't bend 'em as much, but you get the same height.

I'm excited for ya!  and holy damn I wish it was spring Sad

Speedy tutorial!
Yeah the skips springs do seem to require less effort to get the same amount of height, which is always good. One thing I'd like to point out though is that it looked a bit wetter in the PR7090 video than the E640 one, perhaps that affected your performance a little between tests?
I would say try them both out on the same day in the same conditions but that's a bit of a hard thing to do with switching the springs over and everything Undecided

Other than that, nice review and keep at it! Was nice to watch Smiley

If you've got some crazy retarded idea for modifying your stilts beyond what is deemed "normal", have f***ed up your stilts through your own stupidity, or want to be "the new sprog", you are welcome to be here, look around, and learn about bocking. Just please, please, keep your f***ing mouth shut.

I'd like to see a "one month later" post, but with it being Winter and us getting screwed by lake-effect, I don't think it's likely Sad

Yeah I got some work to do with the arms thing. Also the arms get alot more action when I'm really trying hard jump high. Which is what I was trying to do in this video.

There were a few variables in between the 2 tests although I don't think they are too great.  In the 7090's it was wet on the ground 65 degrees out and I didn't lube the joints of the stilts.  with the 640's it was dry 40 degrees and the joints were lubed up after swaping em out and Yeah it took me about 5 hrs to swap the springs out so by that time it was dark.

I think the idea of the comparison is very good, but the implementation.... I wouldn't say perfect.
The difference is not something that we can see from this video, this is something very personal feeling.
For doing this kind of comparison you have to be more skilled,
You need more control...
What about some jumping out of running? some flipping in a row? front flips? in this case you can feel some differences between the springs.
I am sorry if I sound rude, but this is what I think and I prefer to say that instead of keeping it with me.
Powerskip E640 supposed to be comparable to poweriser 90/120.
Now if I can say something about the powerskip springs from my experience... They are good, but definitely not worth the price.
I don't think that I do something with the skips that I haven't done with my rizers M-100.
It is not about the spring guys, forget about that.
It's all about skill, ability, and bravery.
People think that if they take the powerskip from now they can do everything and they will be swebounce in a second.
This is a big mistake.

Good luck to all.
