That was the most scary thing that I've ever done with my stilts...Jumping on wet marble  Shocked.. you can't believe how scary it is.. but we pass it without faults.

So, is it at all possible to swim on bocks?  Or do you have to try and jump off the bottom or get them off before you drown? 15 extra pounds/ 7 extra kilos with very little extra volume strikes me as a prime opportunity for irreversible sinking.

Irreversible sinking... That should be a mainstream euphemism.  It has a ring to it.

Bocks are aluminum.  Aluminum swiftly reacts with air, forming a thin layer of very hard aluminum oxide, which prevents it from any further corrosion from anything.  They don't rust.  I have walked through some pretty deep, murky puddles on mine and they have taken no damage.

the hardware is steal though, and i doubt its stainless, so that will rust.  Swebounced used an old pair of stilts that they didn't mind ruining for the pool.

Not all the parts of the stilts are Alumium... The screws and some more parts are metal and they do rust I can tell.
