7090, as you're right on the lower limit. If you were 80kg, I'd say 90120.
You will struggle to learn on 90120s.

90s definitely.

The 120s will be incredibly stiff for you, and unless you have advanced acrobatic or gymnastic expierence and know how to control your weight shifts and what not, you won't even be able to compress the spring.

If you get 120s I predict you'll get too frustrated and end up quittin, but with the 90s you'll be able to learn and bounce a bit and I think you'll stick with it.

There's my two cents worth lol

Crud. I hate not being able to edit posts on the mobile version.

I forgot to mention. If you get the 90s and you elect to try 120s because you are bottoming out (won't happen for a while) you won't need to buy a whole nother pair. They sell springs seperately, and they're really not that expensive compared to a new pair of stilts.

Hope this helps, and good luck with bocking!

7090's are right, you'll have a hard time learning on 90120's.

Then you would probably want 90120s since you would have the leg strength and such to activate the springs.

Well if you had the expirenece necessary, you would have the techniques needed to apply more pressure at the right time, and you would get bounce out of the 120s with your weight. I'm not saying it's impossible for you to gain a good bocking expierence with the 120s, but without a background, the 90s would do the same for your weight. What I'm trying to say is under normal circumstances, the 90s would behave like the 120s would if you know exactly what to do and when to do it. Sorry if I'm confusing lol I have a hard time explaining things. It sounds right in my head but I can't write it the right way haha

Actually, MK summed it up pretty nicely. The acrobatic/gymnastic training would give you the leg strength and the techniques to use that leg strength to bend the 120 springs.

Thanks MK Smiley

One of my customers who weighs 67 kg and has been bocking for 2 years now (average 4 hrs/day) bought a pair of S-Rex's from me 2 months back. Despite me telling him he was too light for them he insisted they would be perfect for his level of experience. Who am I to argue?

Last weekend, he came to our big event here and gave us all a full day's demo of his skills. He's good, VERY GOOD! But his average height gain was about 1.5 to 1.6 metres.

During the lunch break he asked me if he could try my T-Rex's which of course I allowed him to do. Instantly he was jumping to 2 metres plus. It was so consistent that we could all see how he was more adapted to the 70-90 springs.

If I have understood all I have read on this forum, you should take your own weight and add 10 kilos. Provided that is correct, that would place him slap into T-Rex territory.

Thoughts of the pros would be most appreciated please.

im no pro by any means, but i am good at activating stiff springs.  I weigh 55kg and can bottom out a set of 90120s.  With that said i do get a bit more height out of 90120s then i do on my 7090s.  and i get quite a bit more height on my 7090s then on my 5070s (never use anymore).  That being said i personally dont think that the little height difference i gain from using 90120s over 90120s is worth the large amount of extra effort it takes to get the height.

Below your pseudo it says you have T-Rex's. Have you switched to Powerisers since?
