Add some extra foam to the knee bar.  Maybe add some foam to the strap?  I got calf cuffs, so I'm not sure how well that would work... if you have a bunch of spare cash, poweriser calf cuffs can be purchased separately.  Look through the mods section for better info.  It's better to read through old posts than to ask common questions, because yours has been answered many times before, and all the info is already there.

I agree. Furnature foam or the material that floaties are made out of + knee pads. If the bar is bruising you shin, you may be wearing it too low.

And do look in the mods forums and the read old posts...

Go visit your local Home Depot store.  I just noticed that my local one is now selling a second type of black foam pipe insulation.  The previous type that is dense styrofoam worked well for padding the bar, but this new type works even better.  It is made of very soft, but dense foam rubber -- like memory foam.  I'm sure lining your kneebar with this foam would even allow a naked shin to bock comfortably in the knee loop.  Home Depot sells it down same aisle right alongside the old foam insulation.

If your interested i have a pair of the pitdirt knee/shin pads which i won in a competition last year sometime which i tried once but didn't like them so I use my others.

So if your looking for a pair you can have mine for a bit cheaper than if you bought them new.

You bloody show off Cheesy

Yeah, padding the bar or shinpads are the way to go on this.

if you are still looking by now, Fox Racing sells two sets of knee/shin guards, one for $15 and other for $20. The two are almost exactly alike except the $20 version is ventilated and looks more comfortable. (and it looks better made too) They look a lot like Pit Dirt guards and you can get them in the US. Here's some links:

Eddie Langston: If everything seems credible then nothing seems credible. You know, TV puts everybody in those boxes, side-by-side. And now, there they sit, side-by-side, they look like equals! Everything they say seems to be credible. And so, as it goes on, nothing seems credible anymore!
